She remained a viral figure in the sex work industry over the following decade, getting feature articles written about her and styling herself as a "sex scientist," posting queries about the histories of sex and polls which she used to accumulate data on sexual topics. These were often quite controversial, leading to widespread discussion on Twitter.

She also went viral after admitting to showering 37 times total in 2022, which, as one might imagine, alarmed quite a few posters.

What Was Aella's Birthday Gangbang?

In December of 2023, Aella put out an application for men to be considered to attend her "Birthday Gangbang," an orgy that would find the accepted applicants line up to have sex with Aella.

The very idea of this event led to jokes online, as many remembered Aella as the girl who does not shower very often, but it faded from public consciousness until the event went forward as planned and led to a fascinating Sankey Diagram in which Aella outlined how the lucky 42 successful applicants were selected out of a pool of 1,600.

The chart alone could have been enough to help the story go viral, particularly as the data within shows that only 17 of the 42 attendees were able to finish in Aella, but the chart also came with a Substack report detailing the minutia of the event and how it affected Aella psychologically.

The report is a particularly fascinating read that raised alarm bells for some users. While Aella maintains through the piece that it was an intense experience she doesn't regret, she also details "screaming internally" ahead of the proceedings, comparing the men to "breeders in a cow pen" and saying she had to be held down by security during the event to prevent her from kicking or biting others.

These details invited a lot of opinions on the event, though Aella has maintained that the real issue for her was trying to make sure everyone had a good time, which prevented her from getting "lost" in the moment, which is a feeling she says has experienced in smaller, similar events.
