Kaitlyn Siragusa, popularly known among fans and the internet as the Kick streamer Amouranth, made a series of frightening tweets claiming she was robbed at gunpoint and physically assaulted during a home invasion on Sunday.

The disturbing events that took place late on March 2nd, 2025, were all tweeted in real time by the streamer, which culminated in shots reportedly being fired at the three intruders (one supposedly being struck) who were trying to steal the Kick streamer's $20 million in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

Here's what we know about the attempted aggravated burglary so far as the incident continues generating discourse across the internet.

Who Is Amouranth?

In case you're unaware, Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, is an American Kick (formerly Twitch) streamer and adult content creator. She gained significant attention for her gaming playthroughs, cosplay and engagement with the community, growing a substantial following of fans over the last several years.

The streamer has also been involved in several controversies over the years, including the recent anti-LGBTQ comments and her husband's abuse allegations back in October 2022.

The YouTube channel The Iced Coffee Hour uploaded a full interview with the content creator in June 2023, exploring all the details about her career, streaming and controversies in case you want to know more.

What Happened With The Home Invasion Incident At Amouranth's Texas Residence?

Late on the night of March 2nd, 2025, Amouranth was sleeping with her husband when three masked men suddenly broke into her home in Houston, Texas.

During this incident, the intruders allegedly attacked her, demanding access to her cryptocurrency assets, as she explained in real-time on X, writing that the burglars pulled her out of bed and wanted crypto, as well as that she shot one of the intruders.

On March 3rd, 2025, at 12:29 a.m. local time, she shared a photo of her house's front gate, claiming to be safe after a police SWAT team arrived at the scene. Amouranth also explained she did not call the police immediately because she was being threatened at gunpoint. "I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence," she wrote.

Why Did They Try To Steal Amouranth's Crypto Wallet?

The exact reason why the attackers allegedly targeted Amouranth specifically for her crypto wallet is unknown, but since she had previously revealed that she possessed over $20 million in Bitcoin and nearly $80,000 in Ethereum in a November 2024 tweet, many speculate her substantial cryptocurrency assets being public knowledge may have led to the attempt.

While her disclosure of crypto assets is believed to have led the intruders to plan the robbery sometime in the last four months, concrete details on the people behind the attempted burglary and their motivations are still unknown.

Who Are The Three Masked Men In Amouranth's Home Invasion Incident?

Authorities have yet to identify the three intruders who fled the scene after being shot at and the Houston Police Officers' Union is currently asking people for "any information related to this aggravated robbery" as efforts to track them down continue three days later.

How Did The Internet React To Amouranth's Crypto Robbery Attempt?

The attempted robbery of Amouranth's crypto assets gained significant online attention this week as other prominent streamers shared outrage and concern about her safety.

For example, YouTuber StreamerTV posted a video commenting on Amouranth's home invasion earlier this week.

On the same day, a clip of streamer xQc reacting to Amourath's live-tweeting while her house was invaded that night also was broadcasted on Twitch and later shared to X.
