A Twitter / X user who posts under the pseudonym RadFem Hitler (RFH) has become the center of internet discourse this week because of a rumor that the Madison, Wisconsin school shooter, 15-year-old Natalie "Samantha" Rupnow, was inspired by her radical feminist takes.

RFH has been tweeting for a few years now on the account @hollowearthterf. She's seemingly deactivated her account this week after the spread of the baseless rumors against her. The niche micro-celebrity has gained a cult following of misandrists who read her Substack posts and think, "Literally me."

However, who is RadFem Hitler and why are people saying that she inspired the Wisconsin shooter or was supposedly mentioned in her manifesto? Let's explain.

Who Is 'RadFem Hitler?'

RadFem Hitler (or RFH) is the moniker of a young woman who posts to the X account @hollowearthterf. She began posting in 2022 but didn't gain a significant following until March 2023.

"RadFem" means "radical feminist" and "Hitler," of course, means literally Hitler.

RadFem Hitler's name is supposed to provide an edgy punch to her online persona, which hacks the extremist flair of alt-right internet users to harp on the opposite of their beliefs.

For instance, RFH is a staunch proponent of misandry, the contempt of men. Her anti-patriarchy dogma is evident in some of her most viral posts which take aim at the chuds and incels in the so-called "Manosphere."

Why Does 'RadFem Hitler' Have A Following?

RFH has had multiple viral tweets in 2023 and 2024. Her takes attract women who loathe the male-dominated world, which many feel is especially prevalent on Elon Musk's X. RFH has ratioed many trad posters who generate discourse about Sydney Sweeney being anti-woke over other issues.

Why Are Some Saying That She Inspired The Wisconsin School Shooter?

After Monday's shooting at the Madison, Wisconsin Abundant Life Christian School, an X user posted a Discord message screenshot that they claimed was from the 15-year-old female gunman's manifesto. The message named RFH has an inspiration and used terms like "moid."

Many of RFH's strongest critics, like Laura Loomer and numerous statue PFPs, then spread the rumor online, some believing the random Discord screenshot at face value. However, others have alleged that the X user simply has a vendetta against RFH and faked the screenshot to defame her.

As of a day after the shooting, it's unknown what's exactly true and what's not since the manifesto is still unconfirmed by official sources. What is true is that there's no solid evidence either way.

While a hint might be that RFH deactivated her X account shortly after the news broke, it's also entirely possible she shut it down to avoid backlash or controversy directed at her amid the viral speculation. Regardless, this doesn't prove either side of the he-said-she-said debate.
