That's one of many reasons why I decided to pick the bus over the armor car. I'm just saying that having one that was armored from the start would have been nice but unfortunately it's too small for all of us and it has Shriekers crawling all over it.

Leo aren't you mentally insane?

What makes you think you're driving? While I agree that we should go to the bus, I'm pretty sure a pyscho who doesn't know how to drive isn't going to safely get us out of here.

Yeah I will feel completely safe with a amnesiac behind the wheel. Here's a good question who among us has their drivers licences? Let's just say I lost mines when dealing with a past case and I never got a chance to get it back before this mess started.

I have one and I drove trucks back in the war.

Good idea, we don't want any of the kids recklessly driving us.

Roarshack wrote:

Don, where's all that wackiness you were talking about?

I bet his claim on being wacky shares the legitimacy as his claims of having a psychic connection with gorillas.

Cooorraaal! That kills people!

So our choices are a bus we have no idea drives or not… or an armored police cruiser probably filled with some useful tools we have no idea drives or not. I'll pick the armor.

Yeah, but does have enough room to hold everyone? How are gonna get past all those Shriekers? It's safer to go to the bus.

Laud has a point, there may be potential weapons, gear, and equipment, that'd prove very helpful when encountering shriekers. But 15 of us against 8 of them, could we take them? We have numbers, but we aren't the strongest kids on the block.

I dunno, man. My little .22 can only do so much damage against armored targets, and even then.

(I should've had a mosin for my Bday, but clearly my dad wanted to start small, and god will I suffer for that.)

Bus. Definitely. I'd like the psycho's plan of using the bus to get to the armored car, but the only problem is fitting in the car. It'd be cramped, and frankly, you guys really stink, so I want to have some of my own space. Alright, so how about we mix both of the plans? First, we take out the 3 zombies with what we have right now to get the bus. Then, we ram the other 8 with said bus to access the car. We then scour the police car for better weapons and supplies and then use the bus as transportation as shelter. Sound cool to you guys, or would you rather just take the bus and leave?

Hey, I smelled awesome after escaping that cryogenic tube!

Hmmm… yeah, I think I can be down with that plan. But we only have one shot at this. One screw up and we'll have those things all over us.

You only live once in this world so I'm down with the plan. Hopefully the reward is as great as the risk. Though I will admit that the plan reminds me why I lost my licence to begin with.

I have a few ideas to deal with those three. The first idea is that we use the fastest member of our to distract them long enough for our marksmen to finish them off, of course not only would said chosen individual need to be fast but agile and lucky enough to dodge them. The second idea we can take is to have our most stealthier members sneak up behind them and finish them off before they even notice them. Of course this one is even more riskier then the first cause this requires the unlucky sap to be close to the shriekers but maybe like the first our marksmen can help take out the other two once the first one is down.

I am a marksman!

CrowTheMagician wrote:

How well is your aim and how much ammunition you have until you run out?

I practiced for four years with other guns, and I still have half a case of .22 CB short ammo left, the gun being loaded with .22 devestator rounds. Also, the gun is scoped and it's pretty easy to use.

Say, is there any wind? If so, what direction is it blowing in?

Dumb question to say to a war vet but it's better to be safe than sorry, how well is your aim, how much ammunition do you have until you run out, and more importantly what type of gun you have on you now?

My aim is pretty good and I have 7 bullets and I have a M1911 right now. Though I am not that good at running due to my age and gunshot wounds.

So we have a MacGyver rifle and a semi-automatic pistol, it's better than nothing I suppose lets hope Fortuna is smiling down on us. So which plan do you guys like? The one with more speed and agility or the one with more stealth involved?

The stock is MacGyvered, the scope mount was attached, and the scope.

Schabbs I don't think you should keep making things up as the game progresses, we should really base our characters off of our original info and the game info. Level4outbreak, what weapons do we even have? Because if we actually have guns, that'd be helpful. Don't know how we got guns from a hospital…

IC

I trust the war vet more than you teenagers. Gordon also has experience with firearms. Isn't that right, merchant marine? Little Amber has skill with knives, maybe she can be useful. Kevin, Elizabeth, Nicolas, Sam, and I seem to be the most fit.

Whatever we find in the armored car better be useful. Say we take the bus and the car, can we drive both? I still think armoring the bus is a good idea, Crix can scavenge and Derek and Gordon can fix it up.

Roarshack wrote:

The faster we get these Shriekers killed, the better. Out of all of us, who is the fastest? I would say Amber, but she's 9, I don't want to send a child to die.

Amber is skilled in avoiding detection. I say Elizabeth is a good candidate.

OOC: With the rifle, i'm (sorta) not making it up, I just added it in because I thought that my character needed it (and to be specific about what kind of pump rifle, it's a Remington 572.) As for the ammo, well, you got me there.

Well we can always give amber a piggyback ride, then we can go faster…i think

Damn he has a good point the first idea requires a person who's fast and agile and I fit the bill for that. So for this plan we have me, a war vet, a merchant marine, and a nine year old. Anyone else wants to get involve?

@Crix: As amusing as the idea is we're gonna need another person who's as skilled as her when it comes to avoiding detection.

Who's the nine year old here?

I want to be in this party… what are we doing?

Schabbs wrote:

Amber over there. As much as getting a kid close to them is sickening she is a trained assassin so not only is she good with a knife she can avoid them detecting her presence.

Right. I'll get involved.

OOC: To be honest, I had the intention that everyone had melee weapons. Stuff like fire axes, crow bars, lead pipes, etc. Stuff like guns would be picked up along the way. I actually have a surprise in regards to that.

Ooh boy.

Maybe the bravest and sneakiest could stealth attack them and then the rest just rush them. Des
the the strength of the zombies, I doubt they could survive so many of us at once. However, that plan would most likely end up with a few of us dead, so we should go with a safer option if possible. By the way, I'd really like to fight or contribute somehow if you guys want me too. I'm decently fast and sneaky so if we're doing the stealth thing I could help Elizabeth and lil' Amber.
