I want to be in this party… what are we doing?

Well first I'm going to be the squirming little herring who leads the three undead biomechanical tunas away from our treasure while three seagulls take aerial shots at them while a miniature shark sneaks up on them. Once we take the treasure we drive straight towards the other undead tunas and loot the metal turtle of it's possible loot or even take it with us… Okay I have no idea why I was going with the sea analogy there but in short we're going to distract and kill the first three shreikers then we're going to drive the bus towards the others and steal the armor car.

@Sam: Sadly I'm fully aware of the risk with this plan and while a part of me is saying to just take the bus and get out as fast as it could another is telling me that the rewards from both taking the bus and looting the armor car at the same time will be greater. I think now before we do this we need to vote. Do we just take the bus and leave or do we risk getting both the bus and the armor car?

I say we risk it! I came up with the idea after all though so maybe I'm a bit biased…

Also, just in case you guys didn't hear me, I said I'd like to help take down the first three since I'm decently fast and stealthy along with Amber and Liz. (Yes, I'm giving out nick-names now)

@ Derpy

It doesn't really need gas. We could just use it as a shelter. However, that would thwart our plan of getting into the armored car.

OOC: I'm assuming the story is pretty straightforward. I feel like the bus has gas. That would be an ass move to make it empty. I think it's best to assume the obvious since this isn't a mystery thread or anything.

@Gary

I think he has a few options ready depending on the choices we take. He has one ending for the bus and one for the armored car and now that he's aware of this new plan I feel like he has the result of this one as well, so keep brainstorming I guess as long as we don't start making stuff up.

Hola hola hola. Ok, I may be really confused now, but isn't level4outbreak writing the options? That way it'll be more of an old style RPG. Or are we just suggesting options?

See I thought the original concept was everyone gives some info about themselves, and level writes up a story about our characters. He'd give options out according to the situation we're in, and from what we choose, our characters are effected by them.

OOC: Alright, I think there's been enough brainstorming for now. And don't you worry, Gary. If I didn't have a plan to co-opt the suggestion that was made, I would have just said no right off the bat. I have a plan…

After formulating their plan, the group makes their move towards the bus. The three fastest members of the group, Sam, Amber, and Liz silently run up to the three Shriekers and swiftly neutralize them. The rest of the group follows and board the coach bus. Gordon very quickly discovers the keys still in the ignition. The bus has a full tank of gas.

Gordon allows Nicolas to get into the driver's seat. "You know what to do, sir."

Nicolas nods, turns on the ignition and floors it. The coach bus roars to life and careens straight for the eight Shriekers near the armored car. The Shriekers barely get a shriek out before they are smashed by the bus. Nicolas stops the bus but leaves the ignition on. The rest of the group disembark and look over the armored vehicle.

Gordon says, "We already spent enough time getting the bus. If we want to get anything from the armored vehicle, let's get it now and get back on the bus."

The group decides to:
1) Abandon the vehicle after all.
2) Perform a quick search of the vehicle
3) Perform a thorough search of the vehicle

OOC

Alright then, whatever you see fit.

IC

I don't think the tiny shriek those roadkill got would've alerted anyone else, I suggest option 3, so long as we guard both vehicles.

EDIT: Hmm, come to think of it, maybe we'll find a nasty surprise inside. Be cautious, who knows if there are any dead in there.

I think I'm just gonna stay inside the safety of the bus, but I guess everyone else can just go ahead and do a quick search in case there are any more Shriekers around that were alerted to the sound of us crashing into things.

I guess Fortuna was on our side after all. I say we do a thorough search in the car for anything inside. First off we need someone to check the car for any nasty surprises on both inside and outside, check for any dead bodies or traps that they previous owners left behind. After that me, Jack, Gary, Jeb, and Anna will search the car for weapons and supplies. The rest will stand guard for both vehicles and if you they see anything suspicious tell the search party and we’ll leave as quickly as possible.

Thorough with people guarding the searchers. Well, that was a good run guys. I didn't know we had it in us! We've been lucky as hell so far. Better not let our guards down because of two simple victories.

No seriously, this seems too lucky for us, maybe it's just Kevin's luck rubbing off. We should really take Leo's hearing to advantage now. Crix should be part of the search team too, he's good at scavenging and perhaps he'll find something inside.

Don't forget to search under the vehicle first

That's what I said, we have no idea if this car is rigged to explode or not.

@Gary: Yeah let's have Crix help us out with the search and Leo will be with Nicolas, Gordon , and everyone else on guard duty.

I… suppose that's a possibility. But who would rig it to explode and why? I suppose it just doesn't make much sense for someone to do that considering the current state of affairs. The explosion would probably attract more Shriekers to the area before whoever did that was able to, say, loot our corpses.

I guess I'm just getting a little paranoid cause the fact that everything worked out as well as it did is just making me worry that we're walking into a trap.

There could always be a shrieker under there.

Okay while I'll admit that a bomb is unlikely the idea of one of those freaks hiding under the car is possible. So who here wants to check underneath the car?

Gordon leads a few members of the group over to the vehicle. "Alright, search every nook and cranny of the vehicle." They first check under the vehicle, finding that there is, in fact, no bomb. They open the door of the vehicle, finding that the man in the driver's seat had recently killed himself. The Glock he used is still clutched tightly in his hand. Gordon removes the handgun and the pistol ammo from the corpse. "Sorry there, buddy."

The search group continue their inspection and turn up more firearms: two assault rifles, a shotgun, a sniper rifle, and four handguns. They are able to find the ammunition for these weapons as well. Something then catches Gordon's eye. He reaches for it and picks up what looks a rectangular tube with a normal pistol grip. From the bottom of the grip to right before the end of the tube are small cylinders that connect to each other. Gordon looks at the contraption in amazement. "No way. Is that what I think it is?"

"What? What is it?" Elizabeth asks.

Gordon regains his composure. "It's a laser pistol! I heard they were only in the prototype stage, though. They must have gotten desperate if they're rolling them out now." Gordon notices that the weapon is empty and he does not see the ammunition for the laser pistol right away.

Suddenly, the all too familiar mechanical shrieking is heard. The group cannot determine a specific number but they know that there are many. Probably a whole horde of them. They are also able to determine that the horde is moving towards them and fast. Within about two minutes at best, the Shriekers will be there.

The group decides to:
1) Hurry up their search of the vehicle
2) Call off the search and get the hell out of the city

Guys whatever is left in the car will be useless for us if we're all dead so let's get our asses back on the bus. Besides if we find another abandoned police or military vehicle then we can still have a chance at getting ammo for that laser pistol.

My god, what could've gotten this horde to amass. Something is coming, and for a reason.

You guys think we an take them? If we get the rest of the stuff we might have a chance of holding them off.

I'm willing to be persuaded, for now.

Well we've already stripped the car nearly naked, what else would there be? A few ammo cylinders isn't much risking for a hoard of the dead at our feet. We have enough already, I hope.

Gordon shouts, "Grab the stuff we've already got and get back on the bus!" Everyone complies and scramble on.

"Oh god, we're gonna die!" Anna shrieks as she rocks back and forth in her seat.

"Where do we go!?" Derek shouts.

"Hang on…" Gordon taps the GPS on the coach bus. The map that pops up shows a map of the city and the surrounding areas. "There! Let's get onto the Parkway about half an hour way from here! There's hardly anybody on it usually. We can get around the clogging on the major roads for a while."

In the side mirrors on the bus, the horde can be seen clearly. The shrieking gets louder and louder while the Shriekers sprint straight for the bus. "Floor it!" Gordon shouts.

Nicolas stomps on the acceleration and the bus screams down the city streets, heading for the Parkway.

I seriously hope everyone and their mothers didn't have the same idea about the Parkway.
Oh god, I hope we're lucky there aren't any convenient car pile-ups on our route.

Do you think that the military will check us when we get to the evacuation point? I mean, we have a prototype of a weapon that may or may not be extremely dangerous.

Most likely they will but how they will react to us having a experimental weapon is anyone's guess now, my guess will be that they will take it from us along with all of our guns. Wait a minute is that a Zenith? It is, it even has a silencer, a laser sight system, and it even has an armor piercing system equipped to it.

@Gary: Just cause Annie here shrieks like them doesn't mean she's turning into one. Though if the dead weren't already walking the streets her shriek would have woken them up.

OOC: If Arch is gonna put a Halo gun in this game I might as well slide in a gun from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
