The others… not so much.

Three sentences or less…

But why?

It was the bright point of my day during a tough time moving to a new place trying to make new friends and dealing with graduate school. I began talking online with people I didn't know, thus expanding my horizons, like Owens said. And I currently have something to talk about that other people I now have met know about.

You know it!

Humm, I just had a troubling thought. The "Cutie Pox" episode Saturday may wind up being another Dave Polsky episode, it's seems like the kind of silly concept he'd write about. We'll have to see if his skills have improved since Over A Barrel.

Also a side note, I hear talk about a leaked Pinkie song? Anyone know where to find it, assuming it hasn't been taken down or something?

What's wrong with Over A Barrel? I thought it was a good episode! Seriously, why does Polsky get so much hate?

And here's the song.

I like this discussion (the one about how the show's helped us IRL), but I can't really contribute to it. Honestly, all it is for me is an interesting subculture. I started coming on here lately because I've been sick, bored with class, etc, but I'll probably stick around in future. It's a good place to kill some time.

I used to avoid forums altogether. Now that I'm a brony, I find myself not only posting in the pony forums, but in other forums as well, thus expanding my social horizons.

EDIT: This was supposed to be in response to Citation's question, obviously. I'm just an idiot and quoted Ideo instead.

I guess that applies to me too.

Come on everypony lets par-tay!!!

Hey! I'm supposed to say that!

Is this song leaked from real? Cause for some reason it didn't seemed legit to me.

And if so, I honestly didn't like it at all. It doesn't have the catchiness or charisma that a true Pinkie song would have. I hate to say that I didn't smile.

Indeed. It's like watching you guys grow up ;3
@Scooting Ideological Pie
How nice to be missed.

Which is why I'm still not sure if it's real or not. It sounds fake and seems too long. But still, Thessien stopped allowing wall posts and deleted the post with the song after that happened, so I'm not sure.

I don't think he's that bad, just very different. His episodes are for the most part very funny, but don't seems to have the same level "heart" other episodes do. Plus his morals are vague at best and dubious at worst.

Also where as most other FiM writers worked on various Faustian and other golden age CN cartoons Polsky wrote for South Park and Scary Movie 2. That's a bit of a weird background for this show.

SON OF A BUCKING MONKEY! The only thing that seemed really good was the Fact I got borderlands and all of it map packs for free and I gave the gifts to my brother and sisters on their steam accounts! TF2 was free so I don't care lol and it is always free now too.

Nobody gifts shit to me. I hope for my sake the credit/debit card info wasn't stolen.

This is why I bought Oragne Box and Portal 2 on DVD.

Mission accomplished.

@Owens: You foal! Do you know what you have done?

Paved the way for Disaster Girl: Berry Punch Edition?

Or unintentionally created an image that may be misconstrued as R34-related because of Berry's poor positioning?

@Scooting I. Pie
In that amount of time, those mares would be blacked out on the floor and won't wake up for the next 27 hours; if that's their first time of course.

@Owens

loljk, I just don't prefer to taste the rainbow.

The Canterlot citizens? They're too prissy and stuck-up to partake.

It's interesting. Both episodes (Feeling Pinkie Keen and Over a Barrel) are two of my favorites. It's true: I don't feel much emotion in those episodes and they are filled with slapstick humor, but the I do think I enjoy the writing for them overall too.

The morals…I think the moral for Over the Barrel was hard to apply to younger girls. Maybe touched on racism, maybe touched on sharing, but it came across as a little abstract. Feeling Pinkie Keen screamed religion, and most people didn't like that. Even if people took it for what it was,

  1. It didn't connect to friendship at all. It was forced in (i.e., "sometimes you need a friend to show you the way") and
  2. The moral of believing things you don't understand isn't particularly scientific or rational. But I like that moral. Even if you don't know the mechanism of an event, it doesn't mean it's wrong. It just means you don't know the mechanism by which it occurs.

When you posted saying that he worked on South Park and Scary Movie 2, I was surprised. I hate both of them, and the episodes may not have that nostalgia factor that the others do.

Man, I'm messing up with my grammar and punctuation.

Faust herself once said on deviantART that, although this was NOT intentional, she's not surprised people misinterpreted it as that.

The moral for Feeling Pinkie Keen might also apply to belief in the supernatural. Most skeptics tend to be very closed-minded on the subject of ghosts. So much that it's annoying to convince them otherwise.

Power? You want to talk about power?

She's Berry Punch! She is power!

She was ancient when the world was young! Look upon her works, ye Mighty, and despair!
