When it comes to background ponies, Derpy is the only one that I've really taken a shine to. In fact after today I think she is my second favorite pony. It would be interesting to see what they'd do with the others, though.

They probably will put in more Derpy but they might be planning some more Lyra and Bon Bon. Maybe some Carrot Top too. Speaking of which, Carrot Top was seen in the train with Dinky. Was she babysitting her?

I saw a poll a couple of days ago, dont remember where exactly.
But its derpy with some 40% of votes, DJ-PON3/Vinyl Scratch with 10% and the rest 50% is split amongs the rest of background characters.

The simplest solution in order to not have one's posts considered spam, you gotta post with large amount of time between each post or simply post only after x amount people posted. So, for example, if the thread is really moving along, you may want to post after 5-6 posts, even if short replies. If the thread is bearly moving, you can try posting after 15min-120min (2hrs) depending on how active the thread activity is. There are quite a few exceptions in between any posts. If there is a discussion going on, or even if there isn't one. You simply have to write a huge wall of text, people will either read it or ignore it. From here, those who do read it, will respond. Their response may be a huge wall of text or it may be a short reply. But remember, no matter what anyone replies, u want to have a large amount of text, so do not be tempted by their short replies and continue writing wall of text. If you dont write walls of text, simply go back to the basic options and post with large intervals or w/e. Another this is, depending on what you write, people will respond. Writing long entries and tl;dr posts will mean that people will take their time reading it, if they are in fact interested and may not reply until two things happen: they finished reading it and give u a short reply OR they finish reading it and are writing their own wall of text as a reply. Option two in this case will mean that it will be even longer before anyone replies. Because they will take extra time. Time to read your wall of text and time to respond with their own wall. From this point on, we will call this method wall-to-wall communication as all answers are very long, thought out and take forever to read and write. Not all users on the forum will prefer this type of communication and many may try to stick in simple image-response and type single line sentences to keep the thread moving. Unfortunatelly those users will be left out as there is a massive text discussion going on. Have you noticed how long and boring this following wall of text is? Exactly that. People will loose interest fast, but you may have a good chance at a serious and informative discussion, instead of the normal image diarrhea as it is often referred to here. The problem with this specific post is, despite already being a wall of text, it only keeps growing untill one reaches the character or word limit. The simple edit function here on kym means that within that half hour period this damn wall will keep growing untill it reaches its limit. There is no sense or point in double posting just to continue this wall as this information is not critical. Many users will not appriciate double posting of a large wall of text and may downvote your posts to prove they are superior to you. The information regarding why people downvote certain posts is not yet complete. Generally when people disagree with one's post, they will downvote it. Many users feel it is a personal attack against them. However they have to understand that its nothing against them and are probably trolls or people diagreeing. Never get discouraged and keep posting informative posts. Dont make them too short to read though. And you will be fine. Another tactic you can try to make your posts seem long and informative is modification of text. For example use another font size. Using something much different from the standard will be easily noticed by the people on the forum. But if unlike this post, u do stick close to the standard but smaller text, you can make it look like u have written even more. Or use larger text, close to standard and write fewer words. If you want simple quantity, you have to forget about short form. do not use single letters in place of words such as u for you. You want as many characters and to come as close to the word or character limit you can. It depends on the forum. And you just have to get close. Your posts will seem like you know what you are talking about even if you have no idea, although some basic knowledge is helpful. You can wing forum discussions easier than school tests or essays.

That…..was more verbose than Verbose's posts. What have you done? You're going to start a tl;dr war. And I counted 3, now 4 sentences in this post.

Above this post, Connor has replied with a simple image, exactly what the tl;dr post was talking about. People tend to get annoyed with short replies faster. and if one simply replies with an image to a post or with a simple 'lol'. It is never sufficient information, and it does not help the discussion, even if there is no serious topic on hand. Think of it as a simple scenario where like 5 army guys fire off enough ammo and stuff to make it look like theres hundreds of them. This is exactly the type of thing you are trying to achieve with your long ass posts. Yeah, you are going to waste time writing these, but who cares, unless you are eighty years old, you have enough time to write very long posts. So write away. Skip school or work if u have to. What matters most is the amount of text you can place in a single forum post. The more information the marrier. Longer posts mean that you appear to know what you are talking about. And this information for the long posts is fairly easy to come up with. about nienty if not nienty nine percent of information here is simple filler, it serves no purpose just to make your post look like you have done your reasearch. Copying and pasting of words in your post will not help you. There is no easy way around it so just come up with any information you can. A possible, but experimental solution is to copy and paste text from somwhere else that looks like it is relevant to the discussion. just make sure that if you do use this method you make it appear as if there was some thought behind it. Words that are out of place will be detcted quickly. Do not higlight anything, or write in caps, do not strikethrough text. This will not help. You do nto want to bring attention to a specific part of your post. I did highlight the beginning, but thats where people start reading so that is fine. Do not repeat words that are the same under each other, because people will in fact notice the pattern and will read from there. Never bring attention to one part of post, and people will be reading through your tl;dr post in to time. Appearance is important, you will look like you know extactly what is happening. And never forget the ending of the post, the final words in a single post will usually catch the readers information. Instead put large, fancy but relevant words at the end in order not to get caught with virtually zero information and you will have yourself a fantastic, informative post. Avoid responding to long posts with a one or two sentences, it will not be sufficient. Your online appearance as an intullectual induvidual will be in question if your responses are short. The only people who want simple, short, to the point answers are border control services, but those guys are douches so no one really cares on what they have to say. As for everyone else, make your replies four or more sentences and you will be fine.

And tl;dr's confuse people. Which is why it's good to post images and gifs now and then. To lighten things up.

To be honest I never did any illegal drug in my entire life. People think I am high but I just laugh for some weird reason and is oblivious.

There are literally mountains of evidence that show that illict drug use is extremely damaging to one system. Unfortunatelly, legeally obtained drugs, such as prescription stuff also poses a serious risk for any user. If you have not done or tried any illigal drug, its probably for the best. The drug schedules from controlled drugs and substances act show all the possible obtainablse substances. The schedules range from I-IV. No one needs to ever use anything in schedule one. There are however emergencies in life that will sometimes require legal use of substances in Schedule II. Such as the author of this post has tried. No good. Screws up your head. Substances that are listed in schedule III are often used. And are not as controlled. They include most calming drugs and are easier to obtain. For example, Canada refers to item in schedule II as Narcotics and thefore checks ID, at least in Ontario and stuff in schedule III is a drug, and therefore requires no ID to pick up. Many drugs are compounds and hybrids. For example tylenol number two or three. That is tylenol with codeine and caffeine. a mix, it is listed in schedule III but is a narcotic and oxycodone, a synthetic opeate is listed in schedule II and is far more addictive and dangerous. If your mental and physical health is in fact in good condition, you will probably avoid schedules I to III and never have to experience matters relatede to them. Schedule IV is not as controlled and some listed substances may be available without a prescription. Check with your doctor, but it is best to avoid any and all drugs no matter what.

The reason the discussion often shifts to drugs is because narcotics and drugs are a fairly large part of people's lives. As a person grows up, chances are that he or she will try these substances. It doesn't matter if it is legal or illegal substances. Most likely they will find you at some point. The choice will be the persons. But due to peer pressure or any other internal problems, people of young age are often tempted to try these substances. Best we can do is hope that whatever they consume is fairly harmless or at least gives them a chance to escape and not keep taking it forever. For example if a teenager tries alcohol, chances are he is going to escape alcohol's grasp and is not going to become addicted from the first time. But with stronger substances such as cocaine, the grasp of the drug on someone is much stronger and only the strongest will be able to resist its evil pull. Personally I hope, most people avoid heavy stuff and if they do have to have drugs, its something mild.
