Alright, here's a topic. What other canon appearance would you like to happen?

A lot of you will probably ask for more Trixie, Luna or a canon appearance of Vinyl Scratch. You are allowed to say those, but if you do please give a different one as well. I'd like to see some more original answers.

I'd just like some more variety in this thread. Not an extremely short reply after each post. Walls of text are ok, but divide them in paragraphs. Make them easier to read and not just one wall. I'm also guilty of some very short replies, so I can't stop allowing them. I'm just asking to not do it after each post. Just try to make this thread more fun for everyone.

Id like to see Vinyl Scratch or Octavia. I'd also like to see pinkies family.

I rewatched todays episode and I can safely say that it was the best so far. I can watch it multiple times and I still laugh. Yeah, I liked Derpys appearance, but Pinkie stole the show. She made me laugh so hard, especially " Rarity catch me!". I hope she keeps being as funny as she was this episode.

I never drank any alcohol either only sips and they taste nothing special to me.
But I would like to see some Colegate and Lyra canon stuff.

Completely agree with Ric. More Colgate and Lyra would be nice. I'd really like to see what their personalities are like.

I set an objective before me: try every type and flavour of booze LCBO can offer. No reason to miss out on what the world has to offer, just dont go nuts. I've been there, i know. Trying alcohol isnt bad. Some stuff tastes good, some stuff tastes terrible. If u dont wanna try it, then dont. If u do, most likely no harm done.

Canon appearance? Yeah, I'd go with Vinyl Scratch. I'd prefer appearances but nothing over the top or voiced (fortunately, I felt as if the Derpy scene was hilarious and well-executed.) The somewhat raspy voice from one flash animation (I forget which. The one where she "reveals her eye color") is what I'd like to hear EDIT if I had to hear a voice from her.

I think the perfect scene would be Pinkie asking for some ridiculous sounding song or Rarity requesting something elegant at a raving party, and Vinyl pauses, tips her shades to reveal her red eyes, and then goes back to DJing without saying anything.

I like Octavia to stay pretty quiet, but she is my favorite background pony.

I'd also like to see more Spitfire. She's a cool cat.

As for variety, I'm all for it. I prefer to go on and on with what I think, but I don't post all that often usually. I've been active for about 10 months now, but I have less than 2,000 forum posts.

• Too much tl;dr is hard to read. Plus, if it's on a topic you're not interested in, it's just boring.
• Too many images is colorful but uninteresting. I like to see what you guys can make/find, but Ponibooru and other sites are far better for that. Besides, I want to know what you guys think.
• Brief answers have their place. A well-placed "Bitch, please" is hilarious. But an entire portion of a page with strictly that serves no purpose. They aren't funny. They are clever. They are hardly related to the what is going on.
• And dear God, stop quoting massive posts. Do it if you're on a different page from the post or if you need the image right next to your post to have the desired effect. @Whomever is great.

But most of that is leftover rage. I think the users who do the last one most have gotten better.

Until they forget again.

Anyway, I'm glad Connor found a new "What's going on in this thread?" gif. Twilight's is still more hilarious, but I'm tired of seeing posts about how they don't like the thread. (I'm guilty of it, myself.) Just don't post. Come back in half a day. Generally, the flow changes.

I voted Gilda, cuz seriously, she's a great character and there's so much more to tell with her. And not just in the "oh she didn't mean all those things she said, deep down she's really nice" malarky people can't seem to get beyond, that's an incredibly lazy, unsubtle, hamfisted way of making her relatable.

This video never gets old for me. I think I've watched it 5 times by now.

Well here's somepony I haven't draw in awhile.

Slight redesign, just to make her hair easier to draw.

I'm pretty out of practice drawing, I literally spent the past two weeks doing nothing but working on a Left 4 Dead map (I had 60+ hours racked up in the SDK by the end of it). But now I'm all nice and burnt out of map-makin' and ready to get back to drawing… er.. something.

Anyways, the episode itself was fun. It had:

• AJ character development
• Apeshit pinke
• Everyone else being as adorable as usual.

Since I was gone for a bit, did we already have a discussion about why Poundcake can already fly, yet Scoots can't? (my money's on same sized wings, but younger pegasi are smaller+lighter)

Tomorrow I'll hopefully get to work on my fic(s).
Then comes the first 5 day school week in a month and a half.

And now there will always be Derpy to make me happy. :)

So I scrolled through the MLP comment section and without fail I find the YT video for it right there. That comment section delivers

As you can see from my notes, I knew that Derpy's appearance would raise a storm of reception and I was quite right. Derpy has come a long way from being an animation error, now she is a secondary character (though not likely to get any further than that). But none if this would have happened if it were not for the internet and its ability to make create something out of nothing. Of course this will mean a lot to the fanbase, this is first hand proof of how influential we are and what we mean to the shows creators. Suffice it to say, I think most of us are pleased with the result.

Hearing Derpy get called by the name we gave her felt absolutely unreal. Watching her act as our every fanfiction said she would was unbelievable…it was like watching our first born child talk and walk for the very first time…I felt so…proud.

I don't understand those who look upon our new Derpy as see only a bad omen. Derpy is our creation, your creation. There she is entertaining little girls around the world with her adorable silliness. Does that not make you feel happy?

I do understand that her behavior and voice cuts a little to close to the 'special person' department and that's where any potential danger lies. I admit that I almost winced a bit at that myself before laughing hysterically.

But so far I don't see any lawyers filing suits and claiming that Derpy portrayed disabled persons in a negative light. After all she isn't disabled, just a goofy cartoon character, the Bronies with common sense will realize that and the kids who watch the show wont make any connections at all.

Furthermore I saw some people complaining about Derpy's presence giving away too much fanservice….really? The kids and parents who watch this show are not going to see Derpy and think "Well that's it, this is just the Brony show now…", they will simply see a new character and remain watching the show indifferently.

They don't know that Derpy is a Brony creation so really this is something only Bronies are getting upset over. Personally, I think Studio B can give all the shoutouts to us as they want or none at all, I don't care either way.

But enough about Derpy.

This was a very enjoyable episode for me. I think all the characters personalities were handled much better this time…

…wow I actually don't have much else to talk about other than Derpy. She really did steal the spotlight from AJ. Oh well, there's always next episode.
