I think I'm a tad late for the whole OMG DERPY SPOKE BEST EPISODE EVAR thing but I did think today's episode was amazing. Pinkie pretty much made it for me, I mean Derpy's minute was awesome but Pinkie was great through the whole episode.

Anyway, am I the only person who thought of this (1:22 ish) when Pinkie was talking about things that rhymed with beans?

Also, is BaldDumboRat still going to do the Derpy voice for everything?

Pinkie's shenannigans were great but the fact Studio B made Derpy canon and gave her a voice, just completely wiped out any hope for the other great attributes to shine.

After Derpy showed up, Studio B could of just ended the episode right there.

I don't need yo' snark, opspe! But I figure that between her nearly crying in May the Best Pet Win and in this episode, I'll eventually come to not dislike her at all. When the Reading Rainbow/Read it and Weep episode comes about, I'm sure I'll actually like her somewhat.

And I'd like to think that Derpy has taken on a new connotation that differs from the usual mental disability denotation. It doesn't seem like she was stupid. Just adorably clumsy. As for the voice, if Derpy is seen again and speaks again, we probably we'll probably come to think of the voice as being less stereotypically…"slow."

Well no, but now that she has a cannon voice people might want a voice actor who can do one which is closer to the one in the show. I personally really like BaldDumboRat's take on Derpy. (so much that I helped make a song with her)

Edit: They also have the same book that Twilight and Zecora had. I believe it was called "Supernaturals: Something-something-subtitle-exclamation point". That would mean they teach that in their schools, or that they have that book readily available for others to read. In this case, why is it that everyone was afraid when the mane six came into town after being affect by the poison joke. Wouldn't someone have read that book and knew what was wrong with them?
