Hm, I never thought of making an Ask Tumblr. I guess my idea was based on what I have on hand (out of convenience); if I did a Tumblr, I would have to look online for images of places I haven't been. I like the idea, and I could do it, but I'll stick to this for now I think.

Now, my computer's on the offs currently so I won't be around very much over the next few days – I don't have a smartphone or iPad or any alternative internet access. I do have computers at work I can use, but I can't always be there. So, yeah. Fewer posts.

The cool thing about Ask Tumblrs is that having oral answers is optional. You can totally do just type and it will be popular if done the right way. (personality, history, allusions of any sort) Just remember to have fun while doing it!

Yo guys! I decided to drop by and inform you about my progress on the KYM Pony General Family Photo, since I finally started on it.

Here are the roles I have in mind for everyone. I've used bold text for those whose scetches I've already finished. They haven't been inked as of yet though. And after inking, there's still erasing, scanning, and compiling.

I still haven't though anything for Daniel Vazquez, so I'm gonna need some suggestions. I also might've forgotten someone, so here's your chance to get in, if you've been around for long enough that is.

Apologies if anyone already posted this. I can't see a lot of images on the forums unless I refresh like crazy. Thoughts as to why this would be a bad idea? I will return to tell you why those thoughts are wrong.

Hurm. Well, Twilight has that whole "OCD" thing going on. Assuming this is for the 2012 American elections… she would be right and truly f**ked, judging by the state (no pun intended) our country's in.

I'd actually say something along the lines of CitationNeeded, but I don't really follow politics. I feel like Twilight is a born A-type and leader. The A-type would be to her detriment, but for peace, I think she might serve a good 4 years. She did give up at one point when fighting Discord, but with the right cabinet (of her four best friends and her number one assistant,) I think she'd be OK.

Rarity would be fabulous…nice for morale in times of turmoil.
 
 
AJ might be a better VP, but the colors would clash terribly on posters and banners, and Rarity just couldn't stand for that unfabulousness, dear.

Frankly, Twilight would actually be a good president. Organizational skills seem to be her area of expertise. So I suppose you have a point.

Besides, she'd be better than almost every other candidate in the runnings.

But what party would she even be?

As much as I wish I could take this opportunity to sing Twilight's praises like I usually do, this seems like the sort of situation that she would be unsuited for. She has a few desirable traits that would help her, such as her organisational talents, her skills in negotiation and her ridiculously advanced grasp of logic and reasoning. Unfortunately, I don't think she has the right kind of personality for the job. In Lesson Zero, she went completely insane because she thought she was late getting an assignment in. How do you think she'd cope when the country is faced with war, or if she was the one trying to fix resurrect the economy? In The Ticket Master, she really struggled to make a decision when there was a chance that some of her friends would feel bad for it, so she wouldn't be good at making tough choices. She's also a reclusive intellectual type, and they rarely seem suited for leadership roles.

Rarity would probably make a good VP. She's the sort of pony who would go out of their way to help others, so she'd do a good job of supporting the president. She'd also be damn good when it came to attracting voters. She's the friggin' Element of Generosity, and if there's one thing voters like, it's generosity. If some politician says, "Vote for me and you'll get more money", they're bound to get votes. She'd also be great at the whole 'visiting under-developed countries' thing that VPs seem to enjoy, though she might not approve of the dirt. Also, if Spike's word can be trusted, she's a mighty fine mare, so that would probably score some votes.

I think Applejack would be best suited for president. She's the most level headed and the most honest, so she'd be the most dependable when it came to running a country. She seems like she'd be capable of making a difficult decision, and she'd always strive for good. The only downside is that the colours would clash on that banner thing up there, but I guess we could just like, paint Rarity, or something.

Alright so…

While we all await Muumi's marvelous family portrait works I have come up with a solution to make our own temporary portraits:

Step 1: Download my OC compilation file (I'll host it and link it here in a moment*)

Step 2: Go to opspe's flickr account and choose a background

Step 3: Photoshop away!

*Before I host the file, what format should I use to make it easy for both GIMPers and Photoshoppers? I currently have it in XCF format to preserve layers, can photoshop open that?

I'm also thinking of redrawing me and verbose again just so we are in a different pose. The generated OC's have made that too common

XFC isn't listed as a compatable format for Photoshop CS5 (64-Bit) :( or im not recognizing/seeing it
