You’re essentially in the same position Crashgorden was in: stuck in the never ending line going into the ride. Only you could care less about the actual ride and just enjoy conversing with those around you who have already been on the ride and are going on it again.
>mfw xTSGx thinks that he knows me better than myself
So lets say MLP is the whole roads in a city. I guess i am just running along the MLP traffic line..
Traffic is pretty stuck so i am jogging along all the center of the traffic jam to find and watch road accidents, fight between drivers, watching car lights in the dark exc. But beside all of that i will never buy a car (be a brony) and stuck in the traffic. Is this more accurate?
@Fifths
I just deleted my previous post to ruin your get. U mad bro?
>MFW The Cute Master :3 also deletes his previous post.. And then i delete my second post to give the page get to Cute Master. So then he will being accused to plan all these to page get. Then he will deserve a ban for derailing the thread and i will walk away like i did nothing. That was all along the part of my plan! MUHAHAHA!
Let the page get wars begien!11 No seriously we should stop Cute Master.

NEW EPISODE NOW
WORRYJACK IS HAPPENING, RUN APPLEBLOOM, RUN!!!!
@Alex
What the fuck is wrong with you? Piece of shit.
That was a fun episode. AJ was a bit overbearing, but Applebloom is growing in strength and maturity, which I'm sure will eventually lead to her getting her cutie mark later on.
TENOUTTATEN!!!
@Alex: DERAILED THREAD YOU SAY? LET'S SING A SONG ABOUT IT! Oh wait! There's no time for songs. Gotta finish derailing this thread with ponies in boots and hats!
What? I'm not spoiling anything here. No sir-e-bob. No spoilers from me today!
My top three are We Accidentally The Whole Thread, Plot-ology 101, and One Pony Away From A Cease and Desist.
@Episode: Yay, Apple episode! AJ was best overbearing sister, and also dose boots.
The snake had Kaa eyes too but there isn't a picture of that yet.
Assuming no more shenanigans, this is now horse-pun page?
<div class=spoiler title="Good… Good…">
@Episode
That was quite nice!
I like seeing the sisterly relationship between AJ and AB expanded upon.
They obviously love each other, but AB has been trying to assert her independence ever since season one.
Nice to see her get that chance!
… even if she did have to nearly get eaten by a chimera.
Another thing: Lots of death references in this one.
The chimera talks about 'filly fillet,' AJ says she'll never see her sister again…
And who else couldn't help but read a little 'AJ's parents died when AB was very young so she takes her duty to protect her little sister extremely seriously' into AJ's over-protectiveness?
It was obviously never said, but I foresee many expansions on that theme in fanwork coming up.
(I know the idea has been explored plenty before, but this seems like extra canon support for it.)
So…
What do you think happened to the Apple Family parents?
Clearly, given their line of work, it must have been some horrible apple-related tragedy, likely involving some level of black magic-
Oh, god…
Crazy headcanon time:
At the time that AB was born, Sweet Apple Acres was struggling to make ends meet due to failing crops and a third child entering into the mix only promised to make things harder.
Applemom and Appledad reluctantly made a 'deal with the devil.'
"Please, whatever it takes, make Sweet Apple Acres successful so our children will be safe and prosperous!"
"Whatever it takes, you say?"
Zap!
Both parents were transformed into giant magical apples that spread their seeds across the fields.
Magically imbued with power, these seeds grew into the massive orchard that the Appples live off of today.
This has been another episode of Finding Darkness in Children's TV!
Join us next time for What's the deal with Scootaloo's family?
Oh, and finally-
ded
Episode was alright. I don't threat about the last few episodes being unimpressive as this is how it was like back in Season 2 lol. There were a few moments I liked in this episode, but other than that it just wasn't enough to keep me entertained throughout. Climax was great though.

It's a good thing you said what it was, because when I first saw it my thought was "man, that's a fancy butt plug."
@Commie Pony
Holy coincidences, Batman! The chimera featured in this episode was based on a sculpture that I learned about in my art history class just this week
Chimera of Arezzo
One of the most famous pieces from the Etruscans. There is a story around it that says a hero killed this creature by slashing the goat's throat (hoo, wouldn't that have been something to see in this episode). The lion was supposedly able to spit fire, which was probably nodded at with the scene taking place in a fire-spewing swamp (possible Princess Bride reference?). I don't know why the writers changed it from a lion to a tiger. Hell, AJ even had a lion taming chair. FiM takes a lot of inspiration from Greek mythology, so it's cool to see them taking from Italian mythology as well
The episode itself was pretty good. I do love Apple Bloom and her trying to be independent of AJ reminds me of Bridle Gossip. AJ was a little too overbearing for me. I know it was supposed to be for comedic effect (the helmet gag was pretty hilarious I will admit) but for an episode that was supposed to be a relatable tale about sisters similar to episodes between Rarity and Sweetie Bell I feel like AJ being so over the top took that level of relatability away. We went from thinking "Oh man, I've had a sister like that" to "Jeez, she put pillows on the rakes? This bitch is crazy". So yeah, broke my immersion in the episode a bit, but I can't complain too much about anything else.
@Brony Dating Sim
(I saw the words "Brony Dating" and I got Brony Mate flashbacks.) I don't know what to say about this game. The artwork looks nice, but I'm not sure if I wanna play it or not.
@episode
It was good. There was funny moments (no time for a song), it had Applejack taking on a chimera, and it was the first Apple family episode that focused on just Applejack and Apple Bloom. I like it.

Scootaloo, no!
@Crimson
You were not alone in your thoughts:
And how about a third reference while we're at it?
@Platus
I loled too hard on that Karl Marx joke.
@Episode
It was fun to watch, but I didn't mange to finish it, unfortunately.
@Pony Dating Sim
Christ, I can't believe this is legit… Kudos for the artwork, but still…
@Episode
It was average. While I didn't mind the overprotective AJ, I do have to raise an eyebrow as to why it's happening now when the CMC has done so much reckless stuff that AJ hasn't batted an eye at. It would have made for a pretty good S1 or early S2 episode, but here it just doesn't seem to work. Just like Twilight Time, the chronology seems way off.
And, of course, just like every other Applejack episode, it was either "APPLES APPLES APPLES" or "FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY." They really need to flesh out her character more. At least the chimera was pretty cool, although I think they're starting to run out of Greek monsters. Maybe they'll eventually have to use a centaur. That'd make for a fine shitstorm.
6/10.
Was I the only one thinking of "Are you finished with those errands?" during AJ's exchange with Big Mac?

I wouldn't riot, secretly funnel weapons in from the Image Gallery, and seek Russian assistance liberating my oppressed brethren in exchange for permanent access to a warm water port if one of these were chosen.
This election, choose the only Thread Title that one forum moderator says he "approves of." Don't settle for the lesser puns that will only serve to confuse or frustrate forum goers. Don't let misrepresentation and disinformation rule the Thread. Pick the sole one that not only provides for an excellent pun that most will understand, but also gives forum goers and newfags alike a realistic and honest representation of the Thread. Don't let dishonesty and poor puns rule.
This election, choose KYM Pony General VIII: The Circlejerk of Life as Thread Title.
On the path unwinding, we must always be honest.
Paid for by the Ponies for Prosperity SuperPAC, a non-profit organization.
FYI: Just because I found a certain thread title funny does not mean it is a winner. We're not done yet, not by far.
Don't forget guys, that you aren't just suggesting thread titles, you are VOTING for one too. I need you guys to actually discuss the next thread title, what it should be and which of the suggestions so far will work
Y'all have one jhab.
Your job is to team up and think of the best thread title you can all possibly imagine.
Your assignment is due on page 195
By page 195 I'm going to ask a simple question: "Whats the new thread title going to be?" and I hope to have it handed in on my desk by 8:00AM in a ring binded folder. That's right, you guys are going to tell me what it is.
If you don't tell me what it is, or you do, but I get too many different answers, then I'll decide what it will by myself. And I could, if I really wanted to, name the thread "Horsefuckers Anonymous"
You know what? I just got another idea: Red Team vs Blue Team
Picture this: Two teams of Pony thread posters.
Teams must brainstorm the thread title and decide what they wanna use. This will also be your team name
Teams must then complete a series of tasks. First to complete the challenges wins and so does their thread title
Challenges may include but not limited to:
-Drawing Fluttershy
-Recording themselves singing the theme song
-Posting a picture of themselves with some MLP toys
-Writing a short story that ships their OC with rainbow Dash
-Spilling spaghetti
KYM Pony General VIII: Wanted to make a Twitch Plays Pokemon parody title, but by the time we finally get to the next thread it probably won't be as popular

KYM Pony General VIII: Down With This Thread
I had typed up a lot in response to the titles, but I think it's best I just offer advice:
I'm not going to defend either of my two suggestions, because I think I may take an indefinite hiatus from this thread anyway. I'm a little too antagonistic and "of the old ways." It feels like every time I post here, I'm wanting to wring either BSOD's or xTSGx's neck, but it's all for the wrong reasons. I'm thinking about just posting images (with no meaningful text) from here on out until I can figure my online presence out a little bit better. I've never really been "from the Internet" or adjusted to the willy-nilly nature of it, and I'm kinda tired of taking away from others who embrace that nature.
Thoughts on episode.
As you were.
I'm going to take my time weighing in the options of the thread titles before I make an input. Don't mind me, I'll just be sitting here in the corner feverously taking notes.

(Points up to my last post) Not a Greek monster. Yeesh, don't you people ever read my posts about useless art knowledge? I am ashamed of all of you, see me after class.
@Greek monsters and the possible lack thereof
Well, according to this list the Greeks were crazy good at coming up with creepy shit. At the rate that the show has been using them, I doubt that the well will run dry anytime soon.
And, anyway, I think they should start casting a wider net mythology-wise. Ahuizotl is a good start – being from Aztec mythology – but what about other groups, like the Sumerians? I wanna see the ponies fight Humbaba!

Aw, that's kind of mean. I'm sorry if I've ever done anything to piss you off. I'm just here to have fun, talk about ponies, and watch Blue Screen be driven insane by the Thread Title Election.

@Thread Title
Since Blue Screen's too scared of becoming cynical and embittered, I guess I'll have to do it.
The following is a non-binding (because I'm not in charge of the election) poll of all Thread Title Candidates. Please run through the poll and select your choices for Thread Title. Once done, input your user name so we can have a repeat of the previous Thread Title election.

The 2014 KYM Pony Thread Title Straw Poll
If this goes horribly wrong, I'm blaming Blue Screen for not taking a more direct role in the running of the election.

@Episode
I liked it! Lots of cute, funny, CMC antics (The fake-out song reminded me of a Friendship is Witchcraft joke). Though I would like to express worry over how going back to save the pie cart was probably the stupidest and most dangerous thing she could have done, yet it's the thing that stops the babying problem in the end. Don't know if that's something I can get behind.
I've also noticed that Master Parrot has finally worn me down enough to say that Scootaloo is undoubtedly best CMC (at least until the next Sweetie Belle episode). It's for the same reason I like Rainbow Dash so much… she's just a lot of fun to watch and I'm happy when I see her.
Insert picture that implies Scootaloo is like drugs here.
Plus there's the tragic fanon that gets closer and closer to being canon with every potential reference to Scootaloo's family life that the show skips out on. They could have so easily had Applejack go "And Scootaloo's parents will be here to look after you too." But they didn't. I would be surprised if they gave her a family out of nowhere like they did with Rarity at this point… I'm betting they'll either make it canon (or close to canon) or they won't address it at all. But with five more years, chances are they'll address it sooner or later. What a day that'll be. Extisgex will be out dancing in the streets as the shhhstorm rains tears down from the heavens. Speaking of Extigex…

Now that there are no butts to cloud my vision, I think I can finally use my logic parts to toss in my two cents. I'm not casting a vote into that poll thingy until Blue or whoever says something about it, though. Sorry to crap all over everything your life has been leading up to until this point, Extisgex, but I'd rather just discuss it here and decide without too much flair. It isn't impossible to learn from past mistakes, after all.
So, from the examples you listed in the blockquote above, here's my reasoning:
So right now "We'll be here another five years!" has my (not yet, possibly never submitted) vote, and I like "One pony away from a Cease and Desist" too. Take what I've said into consideration, use your best judgement, don't be an Extisgex about it and everything will certainly be just fine.

The thread title doesn't actually matter in the URL sense. I've had my bookmark set to https://knowyourmeme.com/forums/general/topics/21695-kym-pony-general-vii-luna-is-best-pony for a while now.
Go ahead. Click it. It'll bring you right to this thread, as only the number 21695 matters. Changing the title every once in a while wouldn't hurt anyone's bookmarks, and it might even be a bit of fun for a bit – give everyone who actively contributes a chance to do a thread title (so long as they keep it SFW). Since a mod has to change the thread, all the changes are run by them.
At the very least it'll get rid of this "Ponies for Prosperity SuperPAC" nonsense.

Changing the thread title every once in a while sounds fun and interesting, but I don't think it's a good idea. I rather just stick to just one name (I know it sounds ironic coming from me).
I don't know which thread title I would want to vote for, but my favorite so far is Horsefuckers Anonymous.

Uh, I mean…..I’m not against that idea. I just prefer one official title instead.
I'm not particularly against the idea of interchanging titles either, but it would be nice to have a definitive title. Maybe this is my competitive side getting to me yelling "THERE HAS TO BE A WINNER"
How about we see if there's a winner and then go for changing titles if not?
I'll have more to say on other things later maybe.

Or we could make a list and go down it, asking the next interested person what title they would like once the previous one is finished? If they don't respond in a day or two – skip 'em.

Yes, another convert!
Take your place at the hooves of the almighty!
(Hold up, you've had a Stalkerloo avatar and been stalking me for this long and Scootaloo wasn't your favorite?! What madness is this?!)
@Elections
Whatever happens with the title debates, everyone just remember to…
(Yes, I just saw The Lego Movie and yes, Unikitty was great.)
So, I've found a couple… interesting things coming up:
1).
<div class=spoiler title="Bronies in Primetime">
Yep, looks like there is actually going to be a legitimate brony parody episode on a major network during a pretty popular time (unlike that long-rumored-but-fake South Park episode).
I've never actually watched Bob's Burgers so I have no idea what kind of humor they deal in, but it is hanging out in the Family Guy/Simpsons/American Dad timeslots so I guess that's indicative of its level.
I don't know, we've never really had something like this so I'm sort of interested to see how it will go.
I just hope people are able to laugh at themselves and not rally against the show or something.
(Who am I kidding…)
2).
<div class=spoiler title="About that Dating Sim…">
So…
Evidence seems to be pretty strongly pointing to the game actually being a semi-elaborate scam by a group of people hoping to troll bronies out of their money.
Below, Sam is listed on the Kickstarter page as the writer and Michael is listed as Lead Programmer:
So yeah, apparently this whole thing has been set up by a bunch of douchey 'comedians' using their real names and staking their real reputations on a fake funding campaign that, if successful, will be flat-out illegal (little thing called fraud).
Great trolling there, guys!
In fact, it was so great that I think I hear somepony coming…
This does raise a conundrum…
Since a Kickstarter campaign only collects money if the goal is reached, if no one else backs them, no one will be out any money.
Buuuut then, technically no real crime will have been committed, just a definite violation of Kickstarter policy (unless someone could work up some kind of 'conspiracy to commit fraud' thing).
So on the one hand, I don't want these crooks to get anything out of this, but on the other, how sweet would it be for them to actually get fined or arrested over this stupid stunt?
I mean, I guess I'm hoping they don't get the pledges because I don't want the people who were duped to lose their money and have to go through some ordeal trying to get it back, but if it happens, at least the cannons are already loaded with evidence.
All around, just a very sad, sad situation…
After all that, I need some happy.
Have some Python:
THE TALE OF MADAM APPLE BLOOM!
@Disturbed
WHAT DO YOU THINK I PAY YOU FOR?!
Wait, so all that sex was payment for something? Shit, I thought you were just doing me favors.
No refunds on your virginity though.
In any case, the idea is simply up there as another suggestion alongside all the other thread titles. It's up to you guys if you wanna vote for that or consider a single title.
On the other hand maybe we can use that idea as a Plan B if end up with several really good suggestions that we cannot choose between. We'll just have all our slices of cake.
@The Scootiloominati taking over the world

Hah, so /mlp/ was right. Everyone was saying it's a ruse but I'm used to /mlp/ saying that all the time. However this time, the doubt was more than warranted.
Truth be told, it was very suspect how the game was announced to be complete before they asked for funding, plus all the wild outlandish features they claimed it would have. If they planned on people believing it, they probably shouldn't have claimed it would have features that an action RPG would have despite only revealing it to be a visual novel/dating sim. Either they were making shit up or they had Duke Nukem Forever levels of scope creep.
…And that was before they clumsily leaked all their plans onto Facebook of all places….
Well by now I'm sure word has spread around and nobody will be falling for…
….
…never mind

There is something very deeply wrong with that game. I really hope it doesn’t get produced.
Will someone answer that phone? Because I fucking called it.
Honestly, is it really all that suspect? The aesthetic of that video is just…wrong. Everything about it screams some scumbag's attempt to copy the strange synthesis of My Little Pony and 4chan that is the foundational element of the fandom. Only sovereign nature can breathe life into such a thing however, and this alchemist's homunculus abomination was very apparently not right to my eye despite all the care they put into it.
But yeah, my joy for having called it only slightly overshadows my indignant rage at this fucking person. He's morally contemptible and just pragmatically retarded besides (Seriously? Bragging about it on fucking facebook?)
I hope he gets sent to prison and raped. I really do.
@Pony dating sim, now a scam
Rough outline of all the reasons why this looks like a scam, via Horse News
I wondered if this should be brought over to EqD to raise awareness of this little fiasco, seeing as how people are putting serious dosh into it and the Kickstarters seem completely unaware, even dismissive of the information that 4chan and Reddit is putting out
However on the 1% chance that this isn't a scam. Perhaps it shouldn't be reported there. Otherwise, if this turns out to be legit, instead of a bunch of anons looking like dicks, the whole fandom will.
But what we can do, is pledge $1 just so we can post on the kickstarter comments and spread the findings
If you are wondering why there is a 1% bit of doubt this is a scam: the reason comes from other claims that the "incriminating leaked facebook images" themselves could be a forgery. And that's not unlikely. There's also the fact that what they are doing, if it's a scam, is definite credibility suicide for them. Either they have an ace up their sleeve, or are really that fucking stupid (think scamming kickstarter with exposed identities will be that easy? Guess again), or they are legit
But however, there is a 99% bit of certainty that this whole thing is un-legit based on the simple fact that the claims don't match what's been provided so far.
After 3 years of development, we should see a lot more than a few screenshots filled with easily replicated photoshop elements, stock photographs and OC's lifted straight from this DA page. There should be a playable demo, examples of those 200 weapons and spells, examples of the RPG elements and video's showing gameplay, labels that actually exist and artwork that clearly took more time to make than 1 hour
The ambition of this project is beyond unrealistic for a dating sim, as is the hefty price tag they are demanding for a project that is already 95% complete. Katawa Shouju didn't need all that money for the whole thing, let alone 5% of it.
The credentials of the people making it don't stack up, especially when the guy in charge happens to be a comedy pranker.
Even if the leaked images are fake, there's little reason to think this project will go anywhere with any funding
Besides…if I can't get into a poly-amorous date with Lyra and Braeburn, it already ain't worth my money
I knew the "Brony Dating Sim with Deep gameplay, RPG elements and 100+ hours of gameplay" sounded a little out of this world. They couldn't even make it sound convincing IMO….
@Pony Dating Sim:
I agree with Kewl how it did seem a little out-of-this-world. But it's still a cool idea. But still, srsly.
@Bob's Bronies:
@Dating sim scam:
As BSoD said, the facebook posts could be forged. Still, with all the other evidence of the weird money goal, the fact that it's supposedly almost done and yet they still need this ridiculous amount of money, and how they didn't even try to make it sound like a realistic dating sim I wouldn't be surprised if, even if the facebook posts were forged, this were a scam. It'd obviously be in our best interest as a community to uncover the truth and get the thing shut down (or convince people to stop donating) asap so no innocent bystanders have to lose their money. Obviously it'd be sweet revenge if the Kickstarter went through and then these guys could actually get arrested but then people most likely wouldn't be getting their money back and that would suck. It is risky to out these guys on any major brony sites because if we're wrong it'll just make us look bad (wow, look at me caring about reputation for once), but I think we should still spread a word of caution to anyone who was thinking of pledging.
@Bob's Burgers episode:
I've actually seen a couple episodes of this show (a lot of kids in my college love it). One of them was kinda eh but I saw another one just recently that made me die from laughter. I actually just laughed reading the synopsis of this brony episode, so I guess I'll be looking forward to seeing it. It's definitely the best show on the Fox animation domination block, so if there were any show doing a brony episode I'm glad it's this one.
I suddenly want to bring up a topic unrelated to tittles or dating sim…
…So here's a question…
If Bat Ponies are Luna's personal servants, is there a Light based counterpart for Celestia? I'm kind of assuming that Pegasi exist on the middle between those two extremes, since the alternative is to assume that the big three pony kinds all have a Luna affiliated counterpart…
…So I figure there's a Hypothetical "Light Pony" or something out there. Maybe, either that or something like an angel or something.
I'm not exactly sure what to expect if the show's crew designed such a thing, but I'm imagining something that has wings that aren't so much attached so much as float alongside them ethereally, and yeah maybe a halo, And maybe their version of an Alicorn has like a floating crystal in the center of their halo instead of a normal horn.
…Oh god that sounds like either a horribly Mary Sue ish or a horribly childish way of putting it.
Anyone got a better Idea?
@ The dating Sim
I did some investigating, mainly so that, if there were a smoking gun, I could send Kickstarter a report:
-I looked at the Facebook page for that screenshot, and the post doesn't seem to exist. It might have been deleted, though.
-In the "updates" section of the project, there are two posts addressing the claims of illegitimacy, one of which says that this is all a hoax from Something Awful.
-The donations have dropped to a little over $1,000.
-Holy crap that promo video was messed up.
Alright, I'm not exactly Sherlock Holmes, but I'm going to say +1 Bullshit on this.
