Aerith or Aeris?

Ok, it's Aerith, period. I checked the Japanese name, and in the Japanese version, it's Earisu, which is not Aeris. Aeris really is a mistake by the translation team. Nomura was sure to correct this mistake in KH and Crisis Core.

I'll just leave this here.

10 Top earning CEOs. While you're reading this, you can think of better ways for them to spend our money. Then we can cut the tax on the middle class and give these guys some well-deserved income tax.

Why call it Aerith, when we could call it Aeris? Aeris is just such a nicer name… and the creators are japanese, and everyone knows they can't make anything that won't have fanboys be all "OMG WEEABOO KUWAII FAGGOTS WE ARE!!!". Damn, call it whatever the hell you want. 9 was better anyways.

I hope you guys know the Japanese accent can't pronounce "th" properly. For example, Death Note is pronounced "Desu No-to" in Japanese, and "the world" is pronounced "ZA WARUDO". So it's normal for English translation to get screwy with names like Aerith/Aeris. If you want to avoid this shitstorm, do what the Japanese do, and pronounce it "Earisu". Cheers.
