Wait, what exactly are we supposed to be PMing you? I have no idea what moves I can and can't make.

Its up to you what you can or can't do. If you want to colonize the moon, go do that. You wanna change to a fascist government? Go on ahead. Nuke Puerto Rico? Fine by me. Enforce public nudity in Estonia? You get the picture. The game changes depending upon who plays it, and never have two games I managed ever had the same way to play it.

For example, in one instance, everybody seemed hellbent on annihilating the human race, and the game became heavily oriented on who could develop the best destructive technologies (or defensive, if you wanted to survive). In another, it was all about who controlled the Uranium producing regions for nuclear weapons due to unrestricted nuclear warfare wiping out the nations that had no access.

In one of them, somebody made it his goal to collect ever single monument in the world, and by 2014 the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, A Pyramid and the Sphinx, and a huge chunk of the great wall were all in Sydney, Australia. In exchange for the monuments, he traded masses of Uranium to their respective countries. Rediculously pointless, but that is what he wanted to accomplish.

I tell everything at the next post, which I will try to keep at the same time each day.

The only things I keep secret are where spy actions are coming from (unless you are extremely unlucky and it creates an international incident) and certain technologies (and even then, the technology is only secret until it becomes logically impossible to hide anymore).

No, New Zealand was already taken. Sorry :(

Note to those looking at the map: the cross hatching represents territory you occupy but have not yet formally annexed. You must either occupy the entire nation or agree on a peace treaty to annex land, and you cannot annex a nation if it still resists your occupation (which NPCs will usually not do, but player nations can form resistance groups after you have conquered them and they refuse to bow to your demands).

This is brillaint. It's obvious you've doen this before; it's very well handled, and I love how you dramatically announced the world politics. I'm really going to enjoy this =). Now to plan Norway's next move…

Yes, most nations have started. In fact, I sent Red my second turn a few hours ago. Look a few posts up, where Red has posted a map with Summer 2011. These are the results of the first turn. PM red with your turn now, it shouldn't matter too much that you've missed one.

-Egyptian officers are ordered to peacefully integrate Libya into the nation, as if they were first rate citizens, to cut down on racial and nationalist friction between Egypt and Libya. No major insurections have occured.
-A democratically elected government replaced the military junta rule, and elections are held in December of 2011. The Egyptian people rejoice, and the Arab Spring Revolution all but dies out in Egypt.
-Egypt is being hailed by people all throughout the Arab world as the leading force of democracy and freedom in the middle east and North Africa. Riots intensify in Iraq, Syria, and Morocco as a result, and Algeria breaks down into civil war.
-Gadaffi is discovered to be leading sporadic attacks from across the Algerian border, as well as lending his remaining forces to upholding the Algerian regime.
-Libya is rapidly undergoing economic growth as reconstruction of infrastructure and restoration of order begins. American companies begin to invest in Egyptian oil, bolstering the economy.
-Colonel Gadaffi is placed upon the top of the most wanted list in Egypt.
-Research into various forms of alternative energy is started, but unless this project is narrowed down into one specific item, it may take a long time to complete.

Having no direct land route to the nation in question, Italy is forced to drift its armies through the Mediteranean and North Seas, complicating logistics to no end. I used to do random things like that, although I always thought it unfair to randomly target players for disadvantages, so the random events would always be funny (like Mt. Rushmore turning into a volcano), but people took them too seriously, and thought I was trying to tell them to investigate Mt. Rushmore for some secret power. They were then disapointed to find it was just an ordinary volcano.

It was just annoying people, so I stopped doing it.

When will the update be in effect? I hope you got the PM, it's very important to my nation.

@RedSyndicate Ah okay, thanks for clearing that up.

I have just one more question though. When mulitple countries invade another (such as the four invading China right now) do they evenly split the conquered land between the invaders?

Is it possible for nations, before the war starts, to agree on who gets what share of the land?

Oh noes! But I must know how things are going!

@CjayS
I don't think it has been made as clear as I wanted it to be, and I was thinking of posting an explanation; apparently one is needed.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY THE SOUTH ASIAN COALITION

Our recent military action in the western section of the People's Republic of China is primarily in the interest of creating a free Tibet. We have no intention of encroaching on Chinese territory beyond the western half of Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, and may stop well short of that. Whether this will result in the creation of a new Tibetan nation or some combined entity such as a "United States of South Asia" is going to be left up to the will of the Tibetan people as determined in free democratic vote once fighting has subsided. What with the previous 60 years of oppression of the peoples of this region and the recent attack on Nippon, we urge all freedom-loving nations of the world to stand up to Chinese imperialism.

-Egypt formally supports the reform movements in the other Arabic and north African nations. The leaders of these nations have snubed Egypt by placing an all encompassing embargo on her.
-Demands of the turnover of Gadaffi as well as the dismantling of the Algerian government has led to widespread love of the Egyptian leadership by revolutionaries throughout the islamic world, and hatred from their leaders. However, neither of these demands are heeded.
-Formal condemnations of the Chinese invasion of Japan, and Italy's attack on Germany, are made.
-Investment into the military has provided higher quality leadership and weaponry.
-Egypt attempts to create a coalition called Nations ofr Africa's Development. However, being seen by their neighbors as a pariah rather than a visionary republic, Egypt is instead barred from the African Union.
-Loans from Switzerland, fused with the increasingly modernizing Egyptian economy and the outpacing of OPEC in oil production, Egypt has made great strides to improving her economic might in a very small time frame.

Using high tech weaponry, automated weapon systems, and post-modern construction methods, the Swiss hope to morph half of the nation into an inpenetrable fortress.

-Petrol drilling is also encouraged, and Russian oil is being exported en masse, draving down global market price per barrel.
-Windmills are built in the far north and the siberian mountains, reducing the energy industry's dependence on coal.

-Japan is finally conquered completely, with Hokkaido being easily tramled after the fall of Honshu's last defenders. Scorned by America's refusal to send direct aid to the islands, Japan has had no choice but to allow China to annex the islands.
-Aircraft soar over the Himilayas to carpet bomb major cities in Nepal.
-Mass infantry rushes into the Himilayas find themselves picked apart by snipers and hidden machine guns. Nepali and Tibetan freedom fighters are littered throughout the mountains in powerful defensive positions, making it nearly impossible to advance.
-Attacks into the western deserts upon Indian divisions leads to thousands dead, although most casualties are Indian. Regardless, very little progress in land capture is made.

-With the attention of China now diverted to the Himilayas, Nepali troops have turned to guerilla warfare to hold their ground. India however, has not followed this pattern, and instead engages the Chinese in a seemingly endless sereis of confrontations, killing thousands.
-Aid from Switzerland has kept the Tibetan nation from collapsing under Chinese bombing runs.

Also, to the last two posts, no. I am not going to let brand new members join the game. Usually I restrict these to only people who have been members for at least a few weeks and have a couple dozen posts (to ensure activity, and repulse cheating).

Or is there a specific type of rainbow colour you want, called the Brazil Rainbow?

Or, perhaps you want to turn Brazil into a rainbow. That's be hard to pull off.
