Why not make a specific time limit? If they don't send their turn by a certain time, ignore their turn.

Or set up a specific time to turn in our PMs, like between 3-4pm (EST for me). Anything sent in after that will be ignored.

That way we have most of the day to play diplomat and thuroughly think about our next move, and Red doesn't get hit with 5,000 PMs over the course of the turn. And instead gets hit with 24 concrete, well thought out PMs between 3-4pm (or whatever).

I vote for this. Do not like the set time to post each day idea, though, as I'm not always sure when i can post

Nuclear weapons are launched at four of China's largest cities, although no invasion has taken place. That didn't happen, ignore the arrows.
-Italian intervention has slowed, but not stopped, the advance of the Russian army into Germany. It is expected though, due to present casualties and nuking their own cities, that Russia may not be able to continue its advande through summer.

-The Patriot Missile System is adopted by Spain as an anti-aircraft defense.
-The task force from Ireland is sent to invade Chile. Not much progress has been made there.
-Jet packs fail to make their way into the army, and the failed prototypes end up grying any officers who try to use them.
-A small secret service task force causes a coup in Iceland, and seizes the government for Spain.

-A memorial is constructed in Stockholm to honor the Swedes who lost their lives in the past war. Norway wishes it to be known that they honour their enemies.
-The nation alters its name to Scandinavia, to reflect the unification.
-Advanced green energy technology is complete.

-Indian propaganda is pushed upon those in the western hemisphere through the internet. Most people get pissed off about the alleged spam, and LulzSec bombards India's internet servers with DDoS attacks.
-A cooking game show premiers on India's television networks, "Iron Chef India", which quickly falls in the ratings upon the realization that all the secret ingrediants are beef.

Please Red Syndicate, I just had late PMs, but they stated that the nukes used on Germany were to be pointed at China, and then the China attack got called off, which means no one was nuked.

Russia has about 489 ICBMs armed with thousands of warheads. Now, I am not taking into account numbers here, but your nation definitely had more than four rockets ready to use, and you never mentioned recycling your nuclear attacks, so it still does apply.

Please, tell that to the smoking heaps of rubble that used to be Cities you monstrosity.

Your "freedom" involves nothing other than conquest and annexation. People of Europe! We must rally against the Red Menace and protect our homelands!

Hello nations of the world. Somehow, the nuclear strikes were not called off in time, and Germany and Russia have been greatly damaged by this. Thus, Russia is pulling back all forces on all fronts save for the UAE. We pull back humbled by the fact that we caused all this destruction, and will only focus on ourselves and our newly formed state of Russian Africa for an indefinite amount of time. We will be glad to repay all damages caused by these nuclear strikes, and only hope we will still be accepted by the rest of the world.
