Brazil rainbow? I thought you wanted Nigeria.

Or is there a specific type of rainbow colour you want, called the Brazil Rainbow?

Or, perhaps you want to turn Brazil into a rainbow. That's be hard to pull off.

I want Nigeria for me, but i was curious as to if you could make a country RAINBOW color. Remember, nigeria must be dark brown.

You expect immediate response? I HAVE A LIFE YOU KNOW.

And yeah, rainbow would be hard to do. Pretty sure I wouldn't find out how to do that with ease, so no, I'm not gonna let you have rainbow.

I know Im new but can i please join? If not, if possible could you show me another website that is doing this right now? It seems fun.

If you'll let me join, I wanna be the Vatican, and my color to be some kind of very dark red or any type of red that hasn't been picked yet.

Thanks

No other website I know of does this, and I've never come across anything similar. You could look at Diplomacy Online for a similar type of strategy game with few rules and almost no requirement for regular activity.

Also, the Vatican has no power. You wouldn't show up on the map due to the amount of land the Vatican controlling being significantly less than a pixel on my map. Even if I let you join, what the hell would you do as the Vatican? It doesn't even hold diplomatic weight, and thrives on religious donations!

Lol I was thinking of a country that hadn't been picked and that is what came to mind. I wanted to call christians to radicalize and create a new Knights Templar. There are enough crazy people out there that it could work. I would push a massive propaganda campaign as well and become facist.

This looks like a lot of fun Red Syndicate. I registered here just to get into a game like this. I understand your policy of not letting new members join. I would love to get in when/if you start another round of this game. I'll keep reading the thread and maybe check back in with you after I've got some posts under my belt. Great job!

Realized that I made a tonne of typos. Not gonna fix them, as some are funny (like "might-tech", sounds like Skynet's competitor) and I'm just a lazy bastard. How I wish notepad had a spellcheck.

Also, to the last two posts, no. I am not going to let brand new members join the game. Usually I restrict these to only people who have been members for at least a few weeks and have a couple dozen posts (to ensure activity, and repulse cheating).

Aww. I suppose I'll just watch then.

Comments:

"[Kanadia's] navy has been upgraded from two men in a paddle boat to having some actual guns."

Major lulz.

"The East Turkestan Islamic Independence movement has risen once more…"

Just according to Keikaku…

"…"

I just noticed that there is no update for New Zealand, which is especially odd since the map seems to suggest that they have just invaded Papua New Guinea.

"I am not going to let brand new members join the game."

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with this decision. While I accept that someone may want to play India (and did you give it to "Devin Johnson" anyway?) and therefore I will, in one way or another, lose the influence I'm currently having over them, I don't want my closest ally to drop all action because someone drops in and said "I'll play India!" and then never updates. Does that make sense?

You know, on second thought, considering the fact that the Vatican has such a small level of influence makes me wonder if you might as well allow a n00b to play it. You could a have a small list of countries that new members who want to join in could play for lulz, such as the ones listed here.

There was also no update for Germany and, not to sound whiny but, I need information from this turn to plan my next one.

Sir, if it is too late, I understand, as I do not go on forums often, but I would like to join this game. I would have taken North Korea, but seeing as they only have one half-assed nuclear missile, an amazing 100% literacy rate but a failure to supply power throughout the nation, and a midget of a leader, I will choose another country.

I will take Austria, my color, crimson red (don't think anyone has crimson red yet).

And if this is accepted, I will send my actions now.

Good luck fellow…. forumers, and I hope that Austria's history will be taken into account for alliances etc.

What the hell? I coulda swore I wrote at length what happened in Germany, and I did mention New Zealand's actions. Lemme see that…

Okay I see what went wrong. For some reason, everything after Denmark failed to copy from notepad, or I somehow overlooked it in my rush to post. I'll just put it here:

New Zealand – Electric Lime – Josh
Military: Miniscule Trained
GDPpc: Medium
Techs:

-An invasion of Papau New Guinea is commenced, and rapidly succeeds. Annexation follows.

Madagascar – Light Orange – Wsxdas
Military: Miniscule Militia
GDPpc: Low
Techs:

Germany – Dark Green – Vlad
Military: Big Specialist
GDPpc: Medium
Techs: Advanced Tanks (developing)
Trade: Russia

-Bombers are sent over the Alps, bombarding Milan and Rome as heavily as they can.
-With the aid of Russian expeditionaries, the Italian army is driven out of North Germany.
-Austria, refusing to allow German troops to move through their territory, is invaded and annexed, much to the further dismay of European politicians.
-Through Austria, Germany begins a counterattack into Italy, making much progress into the northern regions.
-Germany is removed from the European Union.

North Korea – Dark Blue – Brad
Military: Massive Militia
GDPpc: Lowest
Techs:

Greece – Thistle – Taryn
Military: Small Professional
GDPpc: Medium

The main reason I don't let brand new members join is because they are usually just alt accounts for current players. No idea why somebody would want to cheat at a role playing game, but hey, people are like that, and its happened to me lots of times before.

Also, that is a pretty good idea; letting newbies play as little micronations. No consequences on the big picture, and some interesting/funny little role play moments for them to input to the game. Then again, it would required more work on my part, and with the number of active players here its already taking more than a half hour to compile a turn (in some games in the past, it has taken HOURS). I'll mull that over and get back to y'all.

Well, if it is just for lulz, maybe they could simply post their actions publicly in the thread and let the players react to them or not as they choose? For simplicity's sake, here's an alphabetic list of all the countries from that page:
Andorra
Antigua and Barbuda
Bahamas
Bahrain
Barbados
Belize
Brunei
Dominica
Federated States of Micronesia
Grenada
Iceland
Kiribati
Liechtenstein
Maldives
Malta
Marshall Islands
Monaco
Nauru
Palau
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Samoa
San Marino
São Tomé and Príncipe
Seychelles
Singapore
Suriname
Tonga
Tuvalu
Vanuatu
Vatican City

So I made an account just so I could play, but then I read that noobs can't join as real nations.. ):

If you do decide to let us be city states though, I'd like to be Andorra – neon orange… But If you decide not to allow that, I understand and I'm fine just watching _

miniscule militia FTW!

This game is like the Civ series. IN other words, it's not going to be finished for a long while yet.

KYM shouldn't really advertise a forum game once its underway, IMO.

Yeah… so I'm on the front page now. I guess I am obliged now to accept new forum users. Alright here's what I'm gonna do. Any NPC nation that is not yet engaged in war, a newbie can grab. I am going to now limit this game to, say, fifteen players. If somebody does NOTHING for a turn, they will be removed from the game. I'm lowering the tolerance for inactivity a bunch, so don't miss!

Since this is a new policy of mine, any aplication for joining that came before this post will be ignored, and anybody who does not send in a first turn the day they join will also be ignored.

India, Mustard.

I do believe I said:

So pick something different.

So I can still take Austria or do I has to go different.

EDIT:
If so, I'll take Mongolia, Crimson and train my people to be Huns again
Laos, Crimson.

Austra, being conquered already, is a definite no.

Newbies can play now!? Sweet!

I'd like Finland, or Iceland if Finland is too big for a newb. Sticking with my previous color choice, Maize.

Would it be possible for me to take Belgium? As I would like to role-play it into actually having a government! (and I'm dead serious.); colour = Awesome, #FF2052

I am no one's alt, I'm a completely brand new user. This games looks like a lot of fun so I signed up for KYM and wanted to get into it. I've been a reader of the site for a few months now. I originally signed up to be Sweden but I decided I'd like to try out South Africa. I can only speak for myself, but I'm really interested in this game and have no desire to cheat or collude in any way.

Guys, these could easily be new users. And i think they are. Let them have a chance, they want to join in, and they have every right to.

But 5 new members popped up. In one thread. At the same time. With the same nonchalant names.

I'm a genuine subject that thrives upon his own cognitive categorization, thank you very much! Now that we've cleared up that I'm a real person, I would really like to join in to play during my study breaks. The thing is, as of a few hours ago, I was rehearsing my defense on Emmanuel Levinas, and I figured I might create a radical new type of government, built upon a certain discours of reflective ethics. Also, Belgium has been without a government for +300 days now, and by participating in this game, I would like to change this, so please, let me join into this lollercoaster! :)

//edit
Let me scrap that, I'm a genuine NEW poster, real aswell, but singular, if you may!
