Well, from this update we may now derive a new Homestuck Multiversal Constant:

There is always one drunk Lalonde.

Tardises put that on Reddit and it's brilliant, so kudos to him.

She is now officially the best character. Sorry, Rose and Karkat.

Moreover, this update also solidifies that Vriska is definitely not a villain, which many seem to enjoy painting her as, but an anti-hero. One of the better ones I've seen in fiction, absolutely.

Or she's lying.

@404: John is the only "real" timeline Character to have had a fight scene in Hero Mode I think. And one of the few to have had a fight scene at all.

I guess i should have worded it, "whats been implied."

Drag the gif.

That ain't a white Sburb.

It's a literal plot hole.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMETHING SO META IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

(Seriously, this update, I can't even. Even went back and changed previous things to reflect it. MY BRAIN IS FULL OF F**K. And also feels because he's still out for a certain trollgirl's blood ;_;)

Okay, I am really not liking how meta this has been getting recently.

EDIT: And then the update wasn't meta at all. ( ._.)

All this time I've been busy looking only at ships of the main cast, while in reality the most sacred of them all was right there on the sidelines. Before I knew it, they already grew canon.

so this happened on tumblr today

This holiday made me hit post limit for the first time.

I feel like I should be proud but I'm just pissed.

At least that gives us time to catch up with the plot and figure out just what the hell has been going on over the last several panels.

There's a lot of questions to ask and it's up to us to unnecessarily overanalyze them.

Starting with the latest one: What was the deal with John teleporting around various points of the plot?

I got your back bro

I tried to write this before 4/13 just in case the update demolished my theories. Apparently, I didn't have to worry about it.

Those are scratch-and-sniff stickers that are supposed to smell like pizza.

That woman to Hussie's left added the sticker:

"Wha…"
"Yeah, you want your book to stink"

EDIT: The number on MSPA prophet keeps increasing. I'm giving up on updating it. As of 7:53 Eastern it was a 27-pager, click the link to see the current status.

So, I just caught up with Homestuck.

I'd never done that before. It was over a year ago when I first attempted to read all of it. At that point, Homestuck was 2000 pages shorter, and I still didn't make it.

This summer I read Problem Sleuth in one weekend. That was the warm-up I needed.

Those of you who started when Homestuck was new probably have read it through "until current" many times before. But this is my first time.

I can finally talk to people about things! I don't have to avoid spoilers! THIS IS A BIG DEAL TO ME!

So I have to ask:

When did all of you start reading Homestuck? How long did it take you to catch up the first time?
