Since when were they not ridiculously epic!? Not all of them, but, still. Also, why are you here after watching the first episode? Isn't this all kinda'…spoiler-y? Now you know pretty much everything! LOOK AWAY!!

Since the last airbender :p keep watching it! Free cake has a point, leave before you see everything.
Anyways, many people have said Noatak is too white, here is a comparison….

Hmm, you make a very good argument, Mr. Dac.

Don't worry bro, her massive biceps are covering it up.
Rumor has it that the next season is scheduled for fall 2013! Why god, why!

From the looks of it, they're gonna do it the same way they did TLA: wait one year time for each season, and the season they release it in IRL is the season in the series. Then again, there were a lot of snowy scenes in LoK. Hmm…
How could you do this nick.com….
I hope the next season goes a bit further into why Katara outlived the other characters by so long.

Isn't it obvious?
She's the forever girl, you silly!

btw, thanks Mexican Android for posting that awesome comic series. After the scene where the Lieutenant found out Amon was a bender i really grew an attachment to him. Seeing that he, along with a lot of other Equalists, weren't doing this to be jerks but to make change that they thought would be for the better, really put the season into a whole different perspective for me.
Bakorra or Makorra?

No problem!
@Dac
I rather go with Bokorra then Makorra. I know it wouldn't work BUT DAMN IT I WANT TO BE HAPPY.
Ok guys, one of the most persistent questions between Avatards…
VS
Who is better?
Toph and Bumi are both masters of neutral jing( bumi by wisdom, toph by necessity). They both have exhibited immense brute force, though Bumi has shown more( taking omashu back singlehandedly, throwing several buildings and lifting a massive statue). Bumi can earth bend with his face( showing complete mastery), toph can metal bend and has siesmic sense. Who would win?

They would begin fighting, but then realise how awesome they both were and sit down for some tea.

Toph's sight gives her a natural advantage against earth benders. The only way to beat her is to get yourself off the ground (like Aang did). But if Bumi tries that he loses access to much of his bending. Point Toph.
I like to think of Bumi being a stronger earthbender, (His attacks use far more force and raw power.) while Toph is the more skilled bender, which is why she was able to bend metal. If the two were just out in nature, Bumi would hands-down win. But in more "realistic" settings, even more so in LOK, the huge amounts of metal around would give Toph the edge.
Also, on the topic of Bumi, it seemed like Aang didn't really listen to his advice during his battle with Ozai. I dunno', his wax figure fighting powers were strange, but I wouldn't say they were something a mad genuis would do.
This series could really use some merchandising. I would kill for an Amon collectors statue or something like that. The characters are so epic( luitenent aka Mr. Mustache, Korra, Metal bendinding police, equelists, Lin, Tarrlok, etc) that it could really use some toys and limited collectors items.
Alright, I am not getting involved in trying to figure out who is the better earth bender.
But yeah, Avatar does need merch.
I must have this for Halloween!

YEEEEEESSSSSSSS
That's from fairly odd parents, right? Remind me though, what's happening in that scene? It seems so familiar.
Edit: never mind, I'm pretty sure that's king Arthur when he died fighting the dragon and Timmy revived him.

Katara lived so long because the fortuneteller predicted it.
"…and then you'll have your third great grandchild before quietly passing away in your sleep. Is that enough information for you?"

And Tenzin's kids are still very young. Unless the other two have older children, Katara still has a while to live yet.
Asami vs Azula!

I need to acquire that, wear it, and lay down some sick raps.

I'm still sticking with this:
COME ON AND SLAM
AND WELCOME TO THE JAM!

Yeah, that's what I figured, if it's truly canon that the Fortune Teller is always correct (which I'm pretty sure is canon). Btw keep in mind that Tenzin is the youngest of Aang and Katara's three children, so Katara might have grandchildren older than Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo, so she might not have that much longer to live. But we'll see once canon strikes again.
On another note, this wonderful piece made me wonder at what age the Air Nomads are given their tattoos
-
Aang in the first series is shown with them at around 11-12 years old, which is a little over what seems to be Jinora's current age. It is shown that the tradition is still being used, seeing as Tenzin has his tattoos. Though they might not get them all at the same time, but this really made me wonder.
@crimsonlocks
They get their air bending tattoos after they master airbending. They must master 36 Levels of airbending. Aang only mastered 35, but his invention of the air scooter counted as the 36th and that's why he got the tattoos so early.

Shit, I accidentally downvoted.
