When it comes to fight scenes, which series do you prefer? Me, I like them both because they are different. I love the raw power in TLA and I love the more technical fighting in LOK. I do think though that LOK has better music and choreography is superior though.

Quite a few people think that Korra was contemplating suicide when she was at the cliff, what do you guys think?

I am waiting for some one to take this scene from avatar and fuse it with this song right here:

I thought that too. That would be way too far for a show on Nick, though. Or, she was going to jump, then magically regain her bending and use it to save herself at the last second.

Absolutely.

They'd never let her do it, for obvious reasons.

Good, so I'm not the only one. I thought it was masterfully done to be honest. Korra contemplating suicide, and Tarrlok and Naotok going through with it.

There's actually something I wanted to discuss about that scene. Why does the boat run on gasoline? I thought it was supposed to be steampunkā€¦

It wasnt steampunk, but before the series came out(about a year ago) they described it as steampunk like, but never full blown steampunk. They meant the style, not that it actually used steam. does that make sense?

I never thought that she was contemplating suicideā€¦ I don't really like that idea xD
I always kinda thought that she was looking for help by looking at the statue of Aang from that cliff.

The statue of aang is at republic city and she was at the south pole. Aang said she was at her lowest point, nothing is lower than suicidal thoughts.

Ooooooooh you meant at the ending. I don't know why but i thought you were talking about when Korra was crying while sitting on the cliff looking at the statue of Aang

Have you guys heard of this show? It seems neat-o and many folks have been saying it kills steamboat willy! It really does seem like the bees knees!

Have I heard of it? Mother of Mary, you're all balled up if you think I haven't heard of it! That Korra's a real bearcat, ain't she?

Has anyone else noticed that Korra is on this poster twice?

Also, why is it that in my post, it's tiny, but in yours, its full size? Sense is not the product this company makes, is it?

It's a joke, 'cause it's obviously NOT gay. I mean, boobies. And male nosebleeds.

As for the image size, it has something to do with the coding of the forum, but I don't know what specifically.

Thread seems to be slowing down. Time for uninformed speculation about season 2!
I predict that several years will have passed in between seasons, in which time Korra will have restored everyone's bending. The spirit flash backs will go into more detail about the later life and possibly death of Aang and friends.

If laughter is truly the best medicine, then you people are slowly helping me become immortal.

>Big brother best friend forever

ā€¦I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I really hope there won't be a large time gap. I mean, we didn't get anything like that after the original thing (Technically, The Promise is set immediately after the first series) The main thing I want is for it to get WAAAY more in-depth with the original series.

Aang died young because being in the avatar state for a hundred years drained a lot out of him. I don't know about it being years after the equalist revolution.

Guys, I think you're forgetting, revolutions don't just go away. Korra's still got to deal with everyone else in the equalist movement, and I guarantee you that they've found a new leader, my guess being the luitenant.

I would agree that more realistically the revolution wouldn't just go away cus Amon is gone, but I don't think the next antagonist will do another Equalist thing, nor do I personally want there to be another Equalist revolution in season 2.

You are right. But I doubt they will be the central villans in the new season. Also, the lieutenant can't take away bending, so what exactly are they going to do to the benders? I think that after seeing the hypocrisy in their leader, they will change their methods. The benders and equalist will have talks to have more representation in government.

I would like if they go into more detail about Mako and Bolin Parent's. I would also like to know what will happen to next with Asami. They already captured Hiroshi Sato, so Future Industries will probably be owned by her. But do you think she'll keep the company? Also, will she grow envy over Korra and Mako's new relationship?

> Equalist comic relief villains
I can totally see that happening, and actually that would be pretty awesome
> Lieutenant can't take bending
I was thinking this too, and this is the main reason I doubt Equalists will become an issue in season 2. It's still in question whether or not the Lieutenant is even alive. As of right now bending can only be taken away by a powerful bloodbender or the Avatar, and the Yakone line of bloodbenders was wiped out soā€¦
> Non-benders taking place in government
This is what I think will/should happen. I think this is something Tenzin would try to push, to avoid future conflict.
> Bolin and Mako's parents
I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM SO BADLY! ARGH!!
>Asami
Seeing as it looks like Masami is officially over, I don't see much point in having Asami get bitter and jealous about it. In fact, I hope that doesn't happen because it would cause the fanbase to hate her which is the last thing I want. But we'll see

That TF2 pic never ceases to amuse me xP

I just got the promise part 1-2 and even though it was really good, I gotta say I'm disappointed how short it was. Oh well, gotta wait till September for the 3rd part
