"Adult Swim is excited to announce that JACK IS BACK. Creator and executive producer Genndy Tartakovsky continues the epic story of Samurai Jack with a new season that will premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in 2016."

The hype is real people.

I'm having a hard time figuring out of they updated the art style or kept it the same. I hope the style is similar enough, that was one of Samurai Jacks strong points.

I guess of course everyone's driving question is "Who is voicing Aku?" I doubt they could get anyone as great as Mako, but let's hope Aku still has his "evil from the belly" voice.

God dammit, I already exploded from hype about Cloud in Smash Bros, do you really want me to explode AGAIN?!

Okay, fine, I'll let the hype flow again.

Adult Swim is killing it right now. First Toonami and now Jack!?

It's a good decade for cartoons. With Tartavosky back to direct the show, I wonder if the art style might get a slight upgrade from its original incarnation. This new show allows Samurai Jack to receive a proper conclusion. On the other hand, Aku is obviously getting recast since his voice actor died years ago.

I cannot fucking wait for this premiere.

Once Mako died, I figured this would never happen. I'm glad Samurai Jack is returning. There really does deserve to be an end to the story. Plus, Greg Baldwin does an excellent job doubling Mako's voice, so it's likely he will be involved.
