Your guilty pleasures in music

What are your guilty pleasures in music? Those songs you just can't help to like even if it doesn't match your overall favorite genre.

Im a rock and metal fan all live (even as a little child I like it) but I just can't help but move my head up with every single remix theme from the Mortal Kombat movie!

I don't fucking know, because I don't like electronic music at all…..and just love this song alongside the classic:

Moves Like Jagger is probably one of my favorite pop songs made in like my life-time but I hardly listen to it because even if I'm in total privacy with my ear buds in I feel heavy embarrassment hearing it. Overall it's with modern pop songs that are widely hated (mainly by the "wrong generation" crowd) like Katy Perry (more the stuff from the beginning of her fame, I hate her music now), Lady Gaga (love lady gaga to death), Rihanna, and Beyonce. (well, Beyonce doesn't receive that much hate but I still feel guilty when I like her songs for some reason)

This song right here. I don't have Aspergers myself or hate anyone with it (hell, Savant himself has Aspergers and made this song just to make fun of it) but I find myself just losing my shit every time I listen to it. Not really sure why, but it's got a decent beat and is an alright song in general, if not slightly hilarious or offensive.

Blood on the Dance Floor.

Yes that "edgy looking" scene band that managed to survive post-MySpace. Why? I think it's a combination of me having an unironic liking for some of their more catchy songs ("Call me Master," and a decent number of songs from Dahvie Vanity's side project "Master of Death"), or finding some of their stuff "so bad it's good" ("Yo Ho" is such a silly rap song about pirates and sex that it's hilarious). Hell I actually find their cover of Lil Wayne's rock song (yeah remember when Lil Wayne did rock for one album?) "Knock Out" better than the original (though I found a mashup that keeps Nicki Minaj's parts from the original, which I think also still sounds better compared to the original version with Lil Wayne).

I know there was that controversy that supposedly Dahvie Vanity slept with underage teenage groupies, but I've also been hearing those were really just lies spread by people who already had some kind of grudge against him, and at least one incident where a teenager did try and claim underage sexual intercourse was later proven false by the very teenager herself when she was asked to appear in court, which resulted in BOTDF making a song about the incident called "U Dun Goofed."

All those stupid pop songs made in the early 2000s with the animals singing them (Hamster Dance, Crazy Frog) are honestly pretty catchy, as absolutely dumb and saccharine as they are.

Also, I LOVE Foreigner to a slightly unhealthy extent. They're a decent band but nothing super amazing but every time I listen to them it's like I have to go into full dork mode. IT'S UUUUURGENT

What is love: I love the bloody song, even if it's a bit cheesy.

Wake me up inside: Liked it for a long time, never really grew out of it.

At one point, I listened to a bit of One Direction. Yep, those guys everybody hates. I find them inoffensive enough and their tunes are catchy so I don't have a problem with them.

Aside from that, my biggest guilty pleasure would be "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed. It's one of two songs I remember the most from my childhood, and listening to it makes me feel nostalgic. Makes me a bit sad to hear people tagging it as a bad song, but hey that's life I guess. :P

EDIT: Add "MMMBop" by Hanson to the list. It's just so much fun to listen to!

Favorite mashup and I have both separate songs on my iphone including the mashup.

Another guilty pleasure is a sped up version of Phoenix

The butt rock in the 3D Sonic games is so stupid, but so goddamn awesome at the same time. I genuinely like all those dumb songs, even Escape from the City.
