A lot of memes seem to be coming out of/spreading through tumblr these days and so I was wondering if we should add that as a field to additional references.

The thing with the additional references is that they aren't the actual website that the meme is from.
They are other wiki style websites about a lot of subjects, fads, and memes, and are there so people reading our entries have another place to read about the meme/event/etc.
Although tumblr is a meme hub and it is popular, I don't think it's what the additional references should be for, unless there is a website that documents tumblr fads, in which case that's what I'd suggest to go there.
But tumblr is just like memegenerator and ytmnd in a way since so many of the images are recorded there.
But unliike memegenerator and ytmnd (it's actually supposed to be a reference to the ytmnd wiki), a single tumblr page, unless they are totally dedicated to the meme, aren't a wiki source on that image/video/whatever.
hmmm…I don't actually browse tumblr, I just hear it being referenced a lot. I was using the tumblr page for courage wolf as my guide and so I though most memes that spread through there did so in a similar style to that page.
While on this topic, I think we should add Oh Internet as a reference. As much as I hate that abomination, it deserves reference as much as Encyclopedia Dramatica.
Speaking of which, we should also go through all pages that reference ED and make sure to change it to encyclopediadramatica.ch or OI.
@Fry:
This is an excellent suggestion. I wonder if the site admins can do something to auto-update such links en masse?
All entries with an ED link under additional references were automatically updated to ED.ch links back when ED went down.
