I decided to change my Pic from the Derpy Hooves .gif to the Deadmau5 Head .gif, and it appears only to have changed when I visit my profile- meaning it stays the same as the Derpy Hooves .Gif when I go onto the forums. Is there any way I can fix this or is it a bit more complicated…

It appears as Deadmau to me, maybe you should just close and reopen the page.
Shame though. I loved that derpy gif.

Oh, problem solved… Sorry Pepperfan, there were getting to be too many Derpy Hooves .gifs on the site so I changed mine.

I really really want to change my avatar to something awesome I just found, but I really think I should wait a week or two before I do. Thoughts?

Do it whenever you are ready. I plan to keep this my profile pic for a while. It's the same one I use on fbook and ponychan.

I'm also planning on using this. For the sole fact that it's me.

Hmm problems. Whenever I upload a gif for an avatar, it always comes out with all this pixel blurring and stuff. Why is this?

I could either be too tall, or too wide. Because your avatar must be a square, it messes the dimensions of the gif up so that it forces it to become a square, thus, screws up the pixels.

I've noticed this sort of thing happening every time i change my profile information. Some spots on the web site lag, but it eventually updates.

It happens. But the entire site eventually updates.

Also, as you can see from the broken gif, it tweaks out if you use a certain type of gif as your Icon, even if you size it down.

PS if you gif does work and you want to size it down to center it, I usually use this program.

When things don't update immediately just wait for the site to catch up. It can take a while depending on the load.
Patience is a virtue.
