KYM’s resident inflation poster, Mistress Fortune, has deactivated.
While I personally have never enjoyed inflation fetish art, I also found it amusing how much she posted and how much it annoyed/aroused users. May she rest in peace

Why do so many users deactivate? Can they not just stop coming here, or is having the account open too tempting to keep coming? It only bothers me because you can no longer go to their page and see their comments, images, or anything else.

That's sad. Mistress was a real gem of this site. Her posting quality was way higher than most people's. Perhaps even higher than everyone else.

Okay non-shitpost time since I'm not on mobile.

Echoing Some Buddy's post. Part of me admired her because she was just so, well, amazingly impossible. How can you be so open and approachable about fetishes, while also acting rather 'mature' about it? Almost everyone else either posted fetish stuff quietly, or just seemed to give the text version of drooling or making jokes about it. Meanwhile, she would actually friggen analyze stuff almost to a science. More surprisingly, while some well known fetish/ smut uploaders did make other contributions, she was legitimately one of the best ones on the site who was still relatively active. One of the few users who was still on the site who could be made fun of while also being seen as a user who actually made contributions that made the site better.

Granted, I also know that this site has gotten to a point that people in her situation are being put into a place that they don't like. The site has increasingly become more political, and it has become harder to just be here (or anywhere tbh) to just enjoy things. With so many alt-right lite users (granted, the vast majority are just BNMs, but those racist/anti-lgbt/ whatever else comments can still sting) and those that are more accepting of who you are also being more critical of other things (there are not too many on KYM, but they are prominent elsewhere) I'm honestly surprised someone like her who was always positive despite the drama and hate that would even be able to tolerate staying on the site as long as she did.

It's a shame she's gone. Part of me would want to talk to her off site, but there's that simultaneous "She's too amazing to bother" and if she's really wanting to leave the site behind without notifying anyone, she probably has her reasons and hopefully is prioritizing actual IRL important things over a meme website.

Seriously? Damn. I've always thought of her as being one of the more reasonable commentators on this site. It's a damn shame that she's gone.

She'll be missed. Miss Fortune is one of the most productive members of KYM, and this place simply won't be the same without her

It was so strange. Just a couple of days ago everything seemed relatively fine and now, she vanished without a warning. I did like how productive she was in both threads and comments, a scholar among us, and even though I couldn't find words to commentate them myself most of the time, she could bring life where there were endless wastelands.

Fortune deactivated? Well damn…

The forums just won't be the same without her. Hopefully where ever you go, you'll enjoy it more than you did this place when you left it Mistress Fortune.

I'll miss their even take on hot topics more than their kink art contributions. They always seemed to comment on things in a rather likeable way, summing up things in a fair and even way. I enjoyed that most about her.

For as much as I harped on 'em for defending Nintendo like it was their only child, MF still posted regularly and never put out a post that wasn't thought out, gotta respect that.

Gonna confess I legit didn't expect ya'll to actually miss me. Short explanation of my absence:

Felt mentally drained by the end of 2019 and wanted to only temp deactivate in order to avoid any temptation to log in. Had ear surgery around the start of the month too. Yeah basically I wasn't in the best spot mentally due to certain factors and I guess I just took an extra step to ensure I wouldn't be tempted to return until I actually felt like it.
