I just want to see peoples opinions on the topic and thier beliefs on sites lite Memebase and others.

These things distort the meaning of memes.

They're effectively obsolete, I think. Most meme generators were used to create advice animal derivatives, which are largely considered overused and incredibly old. As far as I know, the only places that use them heavily are 9gag, Memebase, several other smaller sites, and Reddit, and most self-respecting subreddits ban them anyway.
