Sonic is suuuuuuuper bad at least with spyro & Crash they aren't eye sore bad.

The Sonic Series performed a Crash Dive on the Rating Scale didn't it?

Crash had 4 good games, a kart game, and a party game.
Spyro had 3 good games and that's it.
Sonic has a slew of good 2D games and a couple good 3D ones.
And that's what made Sonic worse.
He was popular.
I say the series went down after SA2 was re-released.

Gah, good thing I've always been a Mario Person. Mario went UP and Sonic went DOWN.

Castlevania took it hard for a little while, but they came back.
Don't forget Doom, or John Romero's games in general.

I feel like somewhere there is an alternate universe where mario is lame, nintendo went down not sega, and sonic is popular.

Castlevania really came back strong with Sympathy of the Night didn't it?

I liked Wolfenstein more than doom, and doom 3 seemed to lack personality, kinda like when they brought metroid in the 3d universe.

Metroidvania took the series in a new direction.

He wasn't the main man for f-zero
and he doesn't work on Starfox now.

Yes it did. While Metroid took the 3D shooter path Castlevania perfected it's Exploration Platformer Style.

but starfox is looking ok I think a new ones comming out soon, Hopefully without motion control… (DO AN ACTUAL BARREL ROLL!!! RUN FASTER TO BOOST!!!)

F-zero after awhile starts to feel like pinball racing
