Alice Dance, often written as Arisu Dance, refers to a GIF of fan art of Tendou Alice from Blue Archive drawn by @sechihyeo. The GIF grew popular in the Blue Archive community, as memes used it to depict Alice dancing in various places or singing songs using AI Voice.

On May 29th, 2023, Twitter / X[1] user @sechihyeo uploaded animated fan art of Tendou Alice from Blue Archive dancing with the song "Usagi Flap" from the game's original soundtrack The video received more than 4,000 reposts and 15,500 likes in 11 months (shown below).

Spread

Months later, the fan art gained popularity in the fandom, as memers made edits of Alice dancing in various places. For example On July 12th, 2023, YouTube[2] user Vulduy2004 uploaded an edit of Alice in Minecraft doing a speedrun. The video received more than 965,000 views in nine months (shown below, left). On August 2nd, 2023, YouTube[3] user Onotoki uploaded an edit of Alice in Valorant, dancing as another player asks her to revive them. The video received more than 819,000 views in eight months (shown below, right).

In April 2024, the edit saw a revival, with edits of Alice singing various songs that often use AI voice. For example, on April 15th, 2024, Facebook[4] page "I'm too stoopid to come up with a page name" uploaded an edit of Alice meeting Robin from Honkai Star Rail. The video received more than 12,920 reactions and 4,000 shares in three days (shown below, left). On April 17th, 2024, Facebook[5] page "I put waifus on old Nokias" uploaded an edit playing on a Nokia 3310. The video received more than 14,000 reactions and 5,100 shares in one day (shown below, right).

On April 17th, 2024, Twitter / X[6] user @OnoeOmi uploaded an edit of Alice singing a Linkin Park song. The video received more than 3,200 reposts and 16,500 likes in one day (shown below).
