About

Praise Da Booty and No Lady On Twitter Can Re-create This are sentences associated with a body position, where the person stands on their two legs and completely bends their upper body frontward, putting their hands between their hips. Gaining traction thanks to a tweet from August 2023, this position has inspired, in the case of the first sentence, many smut or pornographic drawings, and for the second sentence, a Twitter challenge in which women posted photos of themselves in that position. The exact pose associated with this meme is also called the Amen Pose, in reference to the hands touching each other as if in a prayer.

Origin

On August 9th, 2023, Twitter user @KhaleedSZN posted[1] a photograph (see below) of a woman in a beige dress, displaying her posterior to the camera by striking this pose, with the comment: "No lady on Twitter can re-create this". This tweet gained over 60 million likes and was retweeted over 7,400 times in the following month.

This post motivated fellow Twitter users to post themselves in that position, as if to disprove Khaleed's claim. It also inspired many online artists to redraw various characters in that position; in reference to the joined hands, such drawings were often associated to the phrase "Praise da booty", a variation on "Praise the booty", a sentence that had been used online for many years at that point, as a humorous reaction to butts.
