Anti-chan refers to a reimagination of Child GF from the Anatomy of a Gamer meme as a character who despises and opposes lolicons and lolicon ships (is an "anti"). After emerging in April 2024, the character was promptly hijacked by lolicons, who created suggestive and provocative artworks of her, similar to the Stick-chan meme several years prior.

Origin

On April 19th, 2024, X^[1] / Twitter user @WholesomeOrenji posted an annotated illustration portraying an archetypical "gamer" next to his "child gf." The image (shown below) went viral on X, inspiring memes and gaining over 5,000 reposts and 33,000 likes prior to removal.

On April 26th, following the viral spread of the illustration, X^[2] user @notsleepypilled posted two images of "child gf" from it reimagined as a character who despises and opposes lolicons. The posts, since deleted, were archived by X^[3] user @KeareShinei (shown below, left and right).

On April 27th, 2024, X^[4] user @mofumofukani quoted @notsleepypilled's post, hijacking the character and depicting her as a mesugaki (a bratty girl who teases adult men), referencing the Uohhhhhhhhh! 😭 meme, and coining the name "Anti-chan." The post (shown below) garnered over 640 reposts and 4,000 likes in five days.

The post was followed with more suggestive artworks of Anti-chan in which artists deliberately depicted the character in a provocative manner. The character has been compared against and drawn together with Stick-chan and Beako, two other lolicon-opposing characters who have often been sexualized by lolicons (examples^[5][6] shown below).
