About
Aunt Fanny is a fictional character from the 2005 Blue Sky Studios movie Robots. The character is depicted as a red and white-colored snail-like robot. Her most distinguishable feature is her enormous rear end, which is the subject of numerous memes and fan art online. The character is also popular in Latin America, known as Tia Turbina.
Origin
On March 11th, 2005, the American adventure comedy film Robots[1] was released in theaters. In the movie, Aunt Fanny is introduced as a kind, generous, motherly figure toward broken "outmode" robots, helping the main character Rodney Copperbottom, who seeks out his idol Bigweld at his company in Robot City.
Aunt Fanny's character is designed as a snail-like (seen below, left) robot with dark blue eyes and her front end is much smaller than her rear. Her most notable feature is her snail's-shell-like backside (seen below, right).

On October 1st, 2014, an unknown Memegenerator[2] website user uploaded (seen below) an Ancient Aliens image macro paired with text in Spanish, which translates to "She has gigantic buttocks, Aunt Fanny."
Throughout the years, more memes related to simp behavior towards the character began to appear on social media. For instance, on February 21st, 2023 on iFunny,[3] user @RiddyPS uploaded a Drakeposting meme comparing Atomic Heart's sexy fridge with Aunty Fanny. The post (seen below, left) garnered 5,000 likes and 154 comments in five months. Another example, posted by Memedroid[4] user @Jk0 on December 27th, 2022, shows an image of Aunty Fanny paired with the OnlyFans logo. The post (seen below, right) received 168 upvotes in seven months.
Fan Art
The character has received fan art drawings on social media pointing out her distinctive features. For example, Twitter[5] user @ALBK_Music posted a montage of Tia Turbina (seen below, left) on October 31st, 2021, receiving 16 likes in two years. Deviant Art[6] user @skarskull66 posted a drawing inspired by the character's rear end (seen below, right), garnering 5,400 views and 49 favorites since it was uploaded on August 21st, 2022.
