Battle of Beijing / Battle of South China Sea meme example.

About

The Battle of Beijing and the Battle of Moscow refer to two imaginary upcoming battles in World War III between American, Chinese and Russian troops, said to take place in the late 2020s like 2027 or 2029. A series of video memes referencing the battles surfaced on TikTok in 2024, mostly imagining the hallucinations of an American soldier whose life is flashing before his eyes moments before death during the battle. Other Chinese, Russian and different international locations were namedropped in the trend such as the Battle of the South China Sea, the Battle of Taiwan, the Battle of Shanghai and the Battle of Washington D.C.

The video used the song, "When Life Was Beginning, I Saw You" by Henry Jackman as the TikTok sound.[2] Over three days, it received roughly 93,800 plays and 17,000 likes (shown below).
