Beyoncé's Verizon Super Bowl Commercial or Beyoncé's Verizon Ad refers to a Super Bowl commercial from the telecommunications company Verizon featuring American singer Beyoncé. The ad, titled "Can’t B Broken," premiered during the Super Bowl LVIII commercial break in mid-February 2024 and follows the singer attempting to break Verizon's network doing a series of actions to go viral like dropping new music, playing the saxophone, becoming a gamer, introducing an AI version of herself and channeling Barbie turning into “BarBey.” Several clips and memes about the commercial went viral on Twitter / X, Instagram and TikTok over the following days.

On February 11th, 2024, Beyoncé made an appearance in a special Super Bowl commercial for the telecommunications company Verizon. In the ad, the singer was challenged to not only break the internet but to break Verizon's 5G feature. She attempts to do so by dropping new music, playing the saxophone, becoming a gamer, introducing an artificial intelligence version of herself and channeling Barbie turning into “BarBey.” The ad was later uploaded to YouTube,[1] amassing over 384,000 views and 11,000 likes in a day.

Shortly after the commercial aired, Beyoncé announced her new album, titled Renaissance Act II, and the singles "Texas Hold ’Em" and "16 Carriages." Fans celebrated the news by sharing memes, jokes and assumptions about the singer's upcoming album.

For example, on February 11th, 2024, the X[2] meme page @SaintHoax shared the video of a man dancing paired with the caption "I'm so ready for act ii," about the country tone in Beyoncé's new album. The post (shown below) amassed more than 1 million views and 38,000 likes in a day.


On February 12th, TikTok[3] user @jaydanotpinkettsmith uploaded a POV video of how she'll listen to Beyoncé's new album (shown below, left), which garnered more than 4 million plays and 568,000 likes in a few hours. On the same day, TikTok[4] user @mayceesmith posted a video of her reaction to the Verizon ad (shown below, right), which received roughly 11,000 plays and 687 likes in a few hours.
