Chica Dwight refers to a series of parody videos inspired by The Office character Dwight in which Mexican TikToker @xiadanig18 cosplays as "Chica Dwight," translated as "Girl-Dwight," lip-dubbing classic scenes from the comedy series. The creator started posting content as Chica Dwight in mid-February 2024 and went viral shortly after doing a lip-dub of the Spanish version of Kelly's birthday scene.
Origin
On February 13th, 2024, TikTok[1] user @xiadanig18 uploaded a video in which she pretends to be Dwight in a scene from The Office's Season 5, Episode 14, where Jim and Dwight plan Kelly's birthday party. The post (shown below) uses the Spanish dub version of the scene, which amassed over 21 million plays and 2.9 million likes in a month.

The original version of the scene was posted on YouTube[2] on January 21st, 2020, garnering more than 620,000 views and 10,000 likes in four years.

Soon after, @xiadanig18's video went viral on TikTok and people nicknamed her "Chica Dwight." On February 20th, 2024, TikTok[3] user @cherxoon_ commented on one of @xiadanig18's videos saying "I love you Chica Dwight," amassing over 39,000 likes in two weeks (shown below, top). On February 28th, 2024, on @xiadanig18's video, TikTok[4] user @camii_27_ commented about watching The Office on TikTok with Chica Dwight, which garnered more than 6,300 likes in a week.
