About

Glitch is a term used to describe a genre of electronic music characterized by deliberate use of glitch-based noises typically viewed as undesirable in audio recordings. The glitches sounds are typically sampled from malfunctioning audio recording devices or misconfigured digital devices, such as CD skipping, hardware noise, vinyl record scratches, computer crashes and system errors among others. It also refers to the audio-mixing technique that involves splicing together small cuts of music or audio samples to the signature of glitch beats.
