Dark Soul's Crazy Hollow, also known as Angry Hollow or Mad Hollow, refers to a reaction GIF and video of a red skeleton or zombie-like character (known as a hollow) sitting on the ground with a sword in his hand while crying very hard and banging the floor, which originally comes from the Dark Souls video game franchise. Online, the clip is typically used in video and GIF caption memes to express a feeling of extreme embarrassment or sadness toward something that happened in the past, as well as to evoke feelings of anguish or suffering.

The earliest found post of the Crazy Hollow meme was uploaded on Tenor[1] by user pheerie on May 1st, 2020. The GIF (shown below) shows a "hollow," a common enemy from the Dark Souls video games, agonizing in pain with a sword in his hand while crying and hitting the ground — appearing to have lost his mind.
