Do It for Him is an exploitable Owl Turd comic featuring the character Shen scaling a mountain and looking at a picture of himself in a locket for motivation to continue climbing.

Origin

On June 14th, 2018, Owl Turd creator Shenanigansen tweeted a comic in which he looks at a locket containing a picture of himself smiling with the caption "Do it for him" while scaling a mountain (shown below). Within three weeks, the tweet gained over 30,000 likes and 7,200 retweets.^[1]

Spread

On July 14th, 2018, Redditor TemerianCitizen posted the comic with the character "Waluigi": photoshopped into the locket to /r/MemeEconomy^[3] (shown below, left). On June 16th, Twitter user @BibLando tweeted an edit of the comic referencing the My Bike Got Stolen Recently Owl Turd Comic (shown below, right).

On June 17th, Redditor Ashleytan1214 posted a My Hero Academia version of the comic to /r/Animemes^[4] (shown below, left). On July 3rd, Redditor TittenTatten submitted a Bush Did 9/11-themed variation of the comic to /r/dankmemes^[2] (shown below, right).
