Ducker is an island duck character originally made as a variation of the popular meme character pepe the frog by an unknown artist. Oldest timestamp on the internet found of Ducker is on Warosu on Jan 8, 2019. Currently (2024) various illustration of Ducker the island duck has been used as reaction faces, Happy Ducker, Sad Ducker, Autistic Ducker, Ducker Chad, Angry Ducker, Retarded Ducker, Bullish Ducker, Nugget Ducker, and many others.

Origin

Earliest find until now of illustrations of DUCKER date back to Jan 8, 2019 on Warosu.org /biz/ – Business and Finance section where it was posted by an anonymous user with the description "Are your ducks in a row?". ^[1]

The next found instance of Ducker memes being used was on Jan 17, 2019 on twitter by the user @finrekt where he tweeted the image of "Are your ducks in a row ?" with the description "when pepe transmorphs into a duck, i think we are past the cult stage #praisekek $LINK"^[2] Clearly illustrating that Ducker is a variant of Pepe the Frog.

Spread

From 2019 to 2021 not much can be found of Ducker the island duck, but in 2021 reddit user u/MankFrank posted on reddit "Duck, Duck, Apu"^[3]. With a different art style to DUCKER showing him to be Pepe/Apu's friend.

From 2021 to 2023 very little can be found about Ducker the island duck. Later in April of 2023, a Twitter account named Ducker Official ^[4] began expanding and creating many varients to the duck pepe meme and gave him the name of Ducker. Currently (2024) Ducker Official continues to create more Ducker memes and has expanded onto Instagram ^[5] and Tik Tok where they aim to grow Ducker into a Worldwide popular meme.

On Aug 2, 2023 the season premier of "The Ducker Show" ^[6] released on Youtube starting Ducker and many Ducker variants about a story of Finding the Real Ducker and fighting off Evil Duckers evil plans.
