About
Eat, Survive, Reproduce refers to an exploitable meme based on a comic by Patrick Hardin. The cartoon shows a series of animals meant to represent different stages of evolution all thinking, "Eat, survive, reproduce." At the end of the evolutionary line stands a man wondering, "What's it all about?" The comic is edited to show the man thinking different thoughts in various iterations of the meme.
Origin
The original Hardin comic about several animals thinking "Eat, survive, reproduce" while a man ponders the meaning of existence was published in Funny Times on February 3rd, 1999 (seen below).[1]
