About

Eddie's Song is a fan-made track created by singer, YouTuber and TikToker "Sapphire" in July 2022, paying tribute to Eddie Munson, a character portrayed by Joseph Quinn with a brief arc on the Netflix TV series Stranger Things. The song was initially popularized on TikTok and YouTube by fans of the show, but was soon after panned by a wider audience for misrepresenting various characters' motives and personalities, as well as being perceived as too overly emotional for a fan-made tribute created for a character that had only 20 minutes of cumulative screentime as of season four.

The lyrics to the song are, "Eddie baby, I just saw Steve. He's crying his eyes out with Dustin, they're playing D&D. Say oh, oh, oh, they love you so. You're a hero [x2]" The video received over 80,000 plays and over 15,000 likes in just over a month since it was uploaded (seen below).
