Finn Wolfhard Punching Josh Ovalle, also known as Finn Wolfhard Fucking Whore, is a two-panel reaction image macro series featuring Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard punching YouTuber Josh Ovalle in the face.

Origin

On September 19th, 2017, Josh Ovalle published the video "HOW THE MATRIX RUINED MY LIFE" on YouTube. In the video, Wolfhard suggests that he and Ovalle overcome a disagreement by punching each other in the face. Within three years, the post received more than 1.1 million views (shown below).

Spread

The following week, on September 25th, Tumblr ^[1] user etherealstanley shared a two-panel image of Wolfhard punching. The post received more than 5,300 notes in less than three years (shown below, left).

On March 4th, 2018, WeHeartIt^[2] user wheezy. shared the image and received more than 435 hearts (shown below, center).

The following year, on November 23rd, 2019, Twitter ^[3] user @immunitygrazer shared the two-panel version of the image in a bomboclaat prompt post. The tweet received more than 8,000 likes and 1,000 retweets in less than four months (shown below, right).

On February 11th, 2020, Redditor ^[4] organic_crystal_meth shared the image with words "Fucking Whore" added to the photographs. They caption the post, "When you admit to your new girlfriend you masturbate and she says she does too." The post received more than 39,000 points (91% upvoted) in less than two days (shown below).
