We hid behind a car and then sheltered in the apartment of some good Samaritans for 5 hours watching swat teams from the windows. We are all ok but we're angry, very very angry. 5:41 PM Jul 4, 2022 from Highland Park, IL

Doesn't matter how pathetic the guy is: just naming and showing him will cause copy cats and worshiper.

Good job America once again.

Seriously though media "censorship" in the way of banning the release of names and images of the culprits have proven to be the most effective tools against mass shootings all over the world. Far more than any specific gun regulation (although gun regulation also contributes to decline, not as strongly as information control).

Doesn't even need laws just a tiny spec of self discipline by the media.

Like the era of the "serial murderer" in the 70s and 80s was because mass media started to report EVERYTHING about them. Now being a cross state long term serial killer is impossible due to the FBI being much more effective in hunting them down… so that type of person now evolved to the mass shooter.
