Danny Gonzale's Response

On May 21st, 2024, Gonzales posted a statement on YouTube[3] apologizing for the Starbucks cup and his "ignorance on the boycott." He also mentioned he "will do better in the future" and shared an Instagram post to "learn and support the people of Palestine." The apology (seen below) amassed over 53,000 likes in less than a day. (shown below).

Danny Gonzalez há 16 horas I am seeing some comments about the Starbucks cup in my new video and I just wanted to apologize for my ignorance on the boycott. As someone who thinks the ethnic cleansing happening in Palestine is horrible I should definitely do better to stay informed and truth be told during this time in my life I have been spending as little time on social media and news outlets as possible so there is a lot I don't see. I totally understand that seeing the Starbucks cup can look like I'm picking the side of this corporation that has been standing in the way of people standing up for Palestine, I will do better in the future gang I'm sorry. There are a lot of great places you can go to learn and support the people of Palestine right now but special shout out to creators for Palestine run by a bunch of creators I'm friends with! https://www.instagram.com/p/C61ttvFPX... @JDE830 há 12 horas (editado) J To all of those who say Danny supports genocide because he got a cup of coffee know that you are loosing yourselves in your cause. I understand your anger, but that anger makes you completely blind and prevent you to see that Danny is just a busy father that just got a cup of coffee without any political thought behind it yet get accused of supporting genocide. Danny is for nothing in what happens in Gaza and his actions has no effect on the situation, idk guys he just is not the ennemy Instead of attacking him (which I agree is easier but has no effect and to others discredit your cause), maybe consider getting engaged by getting in the way of people who actually makes decisions about the conflict (especially those who read this and are from the US) PS: loved your video Danny ❤ @OwlBard há 2 horas I like how half these comments are acting like he's deliberately showing off his Starbucks cup as an act of malice and genocide support (he's clearly not), even after the fact that he said he was unaware of the situation in his community post and he apologized. Nothing is good enough for you people. →
