Overview

Drake Snoh Monkey App Stream Allegations refers to a 2024 controversy concerning rapper Drake and his association with Kick streamer snoh, who notoriously tricked women into flashing themselves on the Chatroulette site monkey.app (aka the Monkey App) without telling them that they were being recorded and livestreamed. Drake and snoh were purportedly friends from Toronto, Canada. Drake's continued support of snoh despite her contentious content became the subject of the controversy, which spread on Twitter / X in August 2024. The controversy came to light after YouTuber SomethingAboutChickens shared a video called "To Catch A KICK Predator #2" that had a segment on snoh. The controversy added to the Drake pedophilia and grooming allegations that surfaced en masse in 2024 following the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud.

Background

Kick streamer snoh began streaming on Kick sometime before April 25th, 2023.^[1] On Kick,^[2] snoh mostly hosts Just Chatting streams, many of which feature her talking to strangers on the Omegle knockoff site monkey.app.^[3]

On November 3rd, 2023, snoh posted to X,^[4] thanking Drake for new streaming equipment, writing, "Big things have been and are happening… The biggest THANK YOU to the greatest artist, @Drake, for making this upgrade possible!" The tweet received over 130 likes in nine months (shown below).

Soon after, Drake joined snoh live on Kick for a monkey.app stream. A clip of the stream was posted on snoh's Kick^[5] account, amassing over 4,500 views. In the clip, Drake and snoh are seen talking to strangers, many of whom are 18-year-old girls.

In December 2023, Drake streamed and asked his viewers to raid snoh's Kick stream. Drake called snoh his "homegirl from Toronto." The clip was posted by TikToker^[6] @kick.clips0 on December 17th (shown below).

On August 9th, 2024, YouTuber^[7] SomethingAboutChickens posted a video called, "To Catch A KICK Predator #2," in which he discussed multiple Kick streamers who engaged in predatory behavior, receiving over 1.7 million views in three days. At the video's 33:12-minute mark (shown below), SomethingAboutChickens discussed Kick streamer snoh, documenting multiple moments during her moinkey.app streams in which she coaxed women into flashing their chests and oftentimes not telling them that she was live. SomethingAboutChickens also showed the clip of Drake on snoh's Kick stream, drawing a connection between the two.

Online Reactions

On August 9th, 2024, following YouTuber^[7] SomethingAboutChickens's video, X^[8] user @sum_offf tweeted about Drake and snoh. The tweet was deleted but multiple viral quotes of it remained on X.^[9][10] Also, on August 10th, following the tweet's deletion, X^[11] user @AcademyHustler posted a screenshot of the tweet, showing that it had received over 3.4 million views. @AcademyHustler's tweet received over 54,000 likes in two days (shown below).

On August 11th, 2024, X^[12] user @RyanNice reposted the contents of the original tweet, receiving over 2,600 likes in a day (shown below).
