Gypsyβs freedom became a trending topic on social media, with some people eagerly waiting for her to be out of jail as her mother, Dee Dee, mistreated her both mentally and physically for years. Gypsy Rose is well known for being involved in one of the most high-profile cases of Munchausen syndrome (specifically by proxy), which experts believe her mother suffered from.
