JoJo Siwa's Haircut refers to children's YouTube star JoJo Siwa cutting off her iconic ponytail hairstyle and getting a short haircut. In April 2022, Siwa uploaded multiple Instagram Live videos and posts that became image macros in subsequent memes online. Many users related her haircut to a style typical of Karens or to being "butch" in reference to her sexuality that first became apparent in her Coming Out Announcement in early 2021.

On April 7th, 2022, the photo spread to Twitter, screenshotted and reposted by Twitter^[2] user lilygayce who captioned it, "pls lmk if we are about to witness the butchification of jojo siwa in real time," earning roughly 225,700 likes in less than a day (shown below, left). Also on the 7th, Twitter^[3] user ladybturd captioned a different photo of JoJo Siwa's haircut, stating, "this is what listening to cool for the summer by demi lovato will do to you," earning roughly 234,500 likes in one day (shown below, right).

On April 7th, more Twitter users chimed in to the discussion, posting memes and reactions to the short haircut. For instance, Twitter^[4] user rubyslippersue related JoJo's new look to someone who'd drive a One Direction Honda Civic, earning roughly 5,700 likes in one day (shown below). Additionally, Instagram^[5] meme page joan.of.arca reposted the image on April 8th and earned roughly 12,000 likes in three hours.
