Overview

The Kanye West Sexual Harassment Lawsuit is a sexual harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination and hostile work environment lawsuit filed by Kanye West's ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, alleging that West sent her lewd text messages and videos, pleasured himself while on the phone with her and once while in front of her, blocking her escape, while she worked for him in 2022. News of the lawsuit was broken by TMZ in June 2024, inspiring media coverage, discourse and reactions online.

Background

On June 3rd, 2024, TMZ[1] reported that Lauren Pisciotta, a successful OnlyFans model who was hired by Kanye West in July 2021 to be his personal assistant, had filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against West. According to the report, a year after she was hired, West gave her $ 1 million to delete her OnlyFans account and be more "god-like." She alleges that shortly after this, he began sending her lewd text messages. A selection of censored text messages are shared in the article, reading:

"See my problem is I be wanting to f*** but then after I f*** I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f***ed while I'm f***ing them. Then I want her to cheat on me …"
"Is my d*** racist? It is. This f***ing racist d*** of mine. I going to beat this f***ing racist d*** for being f***ing racist. I'm going to stare at pictures of white woman with black asses and beat the s*** out of my racist d*** … Beating the s*** out of his big black c***."

Pisciotta claims that West was "obsessed" with the size of her prior boyfriends' penises and that he touched himself once while on the phone with her. The lawsuit also alleges that West sent her explicit videos, including videos of West having sex with a model. She was purportedly promoted to Chief of Staff but was fired in October 2022. She was allegedly offered a $3-million severance package but said it was never given to her.
