This meme first became notable during the NBA Finals of 2011, where Lebron James' Miami Heat faced the Dallas Mavericks. Due to a large number of "Traveling" calls against Lebron, this quickly became a YouTube comment sensation. By the middle games of the finals, almost every finals related video on YouTube has a "Lebron Traveled" comment. These comments very quickly rise to the status of "highest rated" comment on each video.
