Overview
Mia Khalifa's U.S. Military Soldiers PTSD Comment refers to a viral video of social media influencer and adult movie actress Mia Khalifa hoping that U.S. military soldiers sent to the Middle East return with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and "scrambled heads." Khalifa's controversial statements and video went viral in late October 2024 a few days after Twitch streamer Frogan said similar things about U.S. military soldiers, which was heavily criticized online, sparking memes and jokes related to Khalifa's backstory as an adult content creator and Lebanese immigrant.
Background
On October 22nd, 2024, social media influencer and camgirl Mia Khalifa uploaded a video on X[1] stating that she hopes U.S. military service members deployed to the Middle East suffer from PTSD for "going to fight a war that's not yours," presumably referencing the reported plan to deploy roughly 100 U.S. troops alongside an anti-missile system in mid-October 2024 to aid Israel's air defenses after Iran fired over 180 missiles at the country earlier that month.[5] The video amassed over 1 million views, 23,000 likes and 2,300 replies in three days, quickly stirring up controversy (seen below).
