"The Peckham Terminator" is a video, filmed by two young men on August 1, 2010, which went viral, and gained lots of local interest in the United Kingdom. The video shows a 26 year old man who refuses to pay his fare, screams abuse, assaults the bus driver verbally, rages at his fellow passengers, and finally makes a dramatic exit by walking straight through a glass door unharmed, leaving the scene.

Origin

The young man was dubbed the Peckham Terminator by the two young men who filmed the video. Soon after the incident, the video was uploaded to YouTube, were it went viral.

Arrest

The Police started a manhunt^[1][2][3] in order to find the Peckham Terminator, and the incident calmed down soon after the Peckham Terminator turned himself in^[4], and was arrested with suspicion of criminal damage.

Spread And Popularity

The video gained much local interest in the United Kindom, and the Google Insights showed a sudden spike in searches, which gradually calmed down. For now, the original video has gained approximately 1'000'000 views, and another "Official Video" has approximately 300'000 views. However, the event didn't gain as much interest around the world, as it did in England. The video also sparked some music spoofs, a parody movie trailer, and some Facebook fanpages^[6].
