Excuse Me, I Need Your Help. You Need To Kill Me is a catchphrase and viral TikTok sound in which someone impersonated Donald Trump's voice as if he was a pumpkin begging to be put out of its misery. The sound was posted in September 2023 but resurfaced in late February 2024 in a trend that consisted of using the soundbite as if it was an old pet humorously talking to someone to be put down.

Origin

On September 3rd, 2023, TikTok^[1] user @skylaryerdone posted a skit video of a talking pumpkin begging someone to kill it doing a voiceover similar to Donald Trump. In the video (shown below), the pumpkin says the line, "Excuse me, I need your help. You need to kill me. I've been turned into a pumpkin by a crooked Hillary, the wicked witch of Nantucket. I'm only $14.99. Thank you, sir." The post amassed over 4 million plays and 933,000 likes in six months.

A few days after the skit video was posted, on September 11th, 2023, TikTok^[2] user @inkybunny posted a drawing of himself asking for help from a friend for a math test. The creator used @skylaryerdone's Trump-like voiceover on the clip (shown below, left), which garnered over 501,000 plays, 16,000 likes and inspired over 5,000 other videos to use the line, "Excuse me, I need your help. You need to kill me," for a trend on the platform.

For instance, on February 17th, 2024, TikTok^[3] user @painteater101 uploaded a video showing her stepmom's "geriatric wart dog" using the catchphrase as if the pet is asking to be put down. The post (shown below, right) amassed over 15 million plays and 1.9 million likes in two weeks.
