Female GigaChad is the nickname given to a character used in a series of memes depicting black-and-white images of Krista Sudmalis, the photographer of the GigaChad photos. The original photos were shared on her Instagram in early 2020, with the earliest image macro memes posted to Reddit in September 2021. Much like GigaChad, the Female GigaChad images are frequently used as exploitables in various memes.

Origin

On February 17th, 2020, photographer and model Krista Sudmalis posted an image of herself to Instagram^[1] posing in a sports bra, gaining over 1,100 likes in two years (shown below, left). On August 23rd, she then posted a selfie to Instagram,^[2] gaining over 550 likes in a similar span of time (shown below, right).

On September 1st, 2021, Redditor Hercules69Soul posted a meme to /r/dankmemes^[3] following the X Isn't Real It Can't Hurt You format using the photos, calling Sudmalis "female GigaChad," gaining over 25,000 upvotes in nine months (shown below).

On September 2nd, 2021, Redditor TexNicknor posted another meme using the images to Reddit's /r/memes,^[4] gaining over 28,500 upvotes in nine months (shown below).

On November 17th, Redditor Shrek_The_Funny posted a new version of the meme to /r/memes,^[5] gaining over 32,000 upvotes in seven months (shown below).

On March 6th, 2022, Redditor tamilvanan31 posted a version of the GigaChad Song meme using several images of Sudmalis to /r/memes,^[6] gaining over 30,000 upvotes in three months (shown below). On June 14th, an /r/memetemplatesofficial^[7] user offered the meme as a template, gaining over 460 upvotes in a day.
